"Everybody knows"

Alleged Certainty Fallacy: Asserting a conclusion _without evidence or premises. _

Example: Everybody knows Yasuo is overpowered.

Counter-example: A Malzahar main who never struggles with Yasuo and doesn't know that the matchup is in his favor.

How to remedy such a fallacy: Simply providing evidence for your claim will do this. For example, "Yasuo is overpowered because he can completely negate 35 ultimate abilities with his W." That's not a lot of evidence, but it is at least enough to inform the reader.

This fallacy is often prominent when the writer assumes something is common knowledge. But worse is when they make this mistake because they are so set on their viewpoint that they don't realize the evidence doesn't actually support it. And that's the kind of AC fallacy we see most often on the boards. Rather than make threads asking how to beat someone, people simply say they need nerfs hoping people will just blindly agree and don't even bother to look for evidence.

Fortunately, Riot doesn't take claims without evidence from the boards into regard when they're making changes. Unfortunately, that means they hardly look at suggestions with real proof and sound reasoning because the titles are similar to threads that lack it.

This is why one of the first things I do anymore when I see a post where someone is complaining about how a champion is too strong, and they're suggesting changes to that champion, is to check their match history to see if they even play them.

It's a little funny (and equally frustrating) that someone could try and suggest balance changes for a champion THEY HAVE NEVER EVEN PLAYED!

The most likely case is they played against someone who has a lot of experience with that champion, they got shit on, and they are mad about it.

That's fine, .. but before you go telling everyone that champion is broken, .. try playing them!

If you have played them, and you end up destroying everyone and you still think they are broken, .. GREAT! Now you have some actual insight!
