Is making a reference to a song permaban worthy?

Playing a game late at night when someone in my game (yes he is my friend and no I'm not proud of the things he says a lot of the times) starts making Chinese jokes and to chime in i say "%%%%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%%%%" remembering the stupid song from a few years ago, then i went on to play the song in a music bot in our discord. A few games later, i get the message saying my account is suspended. I log back in to see what is up and it says I'm permabanned. Here are the chat logs from the game i was permabanned for. Game 1 In-Game The Sour Wind: NO U The Sour Wind: %%%%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%%%% The Sour Wind: GG Yeah caps lock is on, how i have my keys bound i end up hitting it a lot and i type regardless. I've been playing this game since 2014, and yeah in that time I've made some mistakes and had a few suspensions. But is it really necessary to ban me for making a reference that the game didnt understand out of context, and most likely used a machine to spot and give punishment? I've put thousands of dollars and hours into this game, and after my last suspension, I was seriously determined to never use the types of words that got me suspended before. I really do love this game and i don't want to lose all the time and effort put into my account because of this. I understand that riot is just trying to make the game a better place by removing toxicity, but i wasn't even being toxic this game. I've been a huge supporter of Riot for years and if this ends up just being another dead thread with no response or support, then I will go on to build up another account. because i truly love this game and i would like a chance to show I'm not a bad player. If any Riot staff reads this thank you for your time and i hope you will understand.

You and your friend are not the only people in chat, keep that in mind.

The n-word is used in several rap lyrics, it doesn't mean it's okay to start spouting them off in game in front of strangers that don't know what you're referencing.

Racism has a zero-tolerance policy, whether it be a song lyric, a band name, or an insult. This term is definitely racist, and, as such, is subject to said zero tolerance policy.

I've also gone ahead and removed the link in question, due -- again -- to the zero-tolerance policy on racist language. While you're fine discussing the zero-tolerance policy it on Player Behavior we don't need that sort of content linked here.

Seeing how it posted, i guess a machine censored what i said. The second line of text read "ch ing ch o ng c h i ng c h o ng" without the spaces obviously. this even further helps prove that i was most likely banned by a system designed to detect words like that and punish without thinking.

As a Chinese person, I find the song hilarious and have gotten so used to racist Chinese jokes that I crack them myself all the time. However, I think part of what might've gotten you banned is the other stuff referenced in the song (Rape, regime in North Korea, talking about women in a disrespectful manner) which is more extreme than a slight joke towards Chinese people.

Riot has an automated system built in that deals with punishing players based solely on keywords.

Depends on the song.

DMX's "Bring your whole crew" is going to have some zero-tolerance words.

Typing "more than diamonds, more than gold" when you get an ace probably won't get you a report.

Though if anyone mentions Songbird by Kenny-G, it should be an insta-perma ban.
