Spacebar makes the report notification go away?

Report notifications often appear during the endgame lobby, where people are talking to each other. If you are typing, and hit the spacebar between words, you won't even get a chance to read the report notification that comes up because the spacebar confirms the report notifications close-button.

Can we remove that functionality, to where you close out the report notification with a mouse-click instead?
