Just had a loss with LeBlanc (a champion who, by the way, my stats all far exceed Diamond players on; I am Bronze IV). The entire game my team was trashing my build and crediting me for our loss, despite my urging to just trust me, believe we can win, and play the game. My team did not trust me and pretty much gave up purely on the basis of my build, which is a the problem this post addresses. Please stop doing this, people. Trust your teammate's build. Instead, my team decided to be toxic and revile me for my decisions, and I even got a little flak from the other team.

Postgame, I'm the only guy in the game who earned an S (S- to be exact).

You earned an S- on LeBlanc <Camille>: what the hell

Lol. If you are using the in client stats as a reference, don't bother. It means nothing outside of your own elo. Also S,S+, S- do not matter if you don't win.

There's literally no point in this. Are you really convinced that you play at a diamond level? That's kind of sad.

It's because the stats don't vary a lot between Ranks because they are affected by the competition the player is facing - which is players of his own Rank which get better the higher up he is. For example, a 15 year old playing JV basketball can average 30 points a game and an NBA player can average 28 points a game. That doesn't mean the 15 year old is better than the NBA player. Picture what would happen if you switch those players to the other's league. :-)

Lol God damn. People really have troubles applying information from the stats page. Just because your stats vs bronze players match that of the average diamond players stats, doesn't really mean anything. Imagine if you played against diamonds, how good those stats would be. It probably means you are where you belong. Because you're performing at the average rate of someone fighting equally skilled allies. If your stats were even better, I think it would only suggest that you could climb in rank, given enough games played. It doesn't really mean anything to be honest. Other than like, vision score... which is my weakness lol. I ward like a bronze.
