Why Are There So Many Trolls?

Why can't people just play seriously, even when they begin losing? I can understand in a completely one sided game messing around, because those games are damn near impossible to come back in. When it's possible to win however, I really don't get why people start trolling their own team. Flashing for no reason, running into the enemies and dying like it was an accident, pretending to have dc'd, I just can't understand it. Last game I played this Twitch lost lane sometime around 20 minutes and then proceeded to make the enemy team chase him around while he stealthed away. This guy wasted a lot of time, he died 2-3 times, and ultimately he pissed our whole team off and costed us the game. Meanwhile he responds to everything in the chat with "I'm not 12." and "lol". The game was completely winnable if we had this player contributing like he should have been, but he did not.

The worse part about it is, reporting something like this doesn't do anything. He didn't have an abnormal amount of deaths. He was still farming from time to time, he just wasn't playing like any normal player would have been in the same situation. In better words, intentionally throwing the game without breaking the rules. What is driving people like this? It's terrible that people would even want to do shit like this.

I also consider it trolling if players are chasing kills like its Cuty of Duty and never destroying a tower. It's troll if your lane is empty, wave about to hit enemy tower, and you back with health, mana, and don't even try to hit the tower while players are dead. Unfortunately, the "player audit" sees this a bad game and continues to let the MMR be useless in identifying helpful players.

Trolls are so lazy these days. I'm a troll. But my mentality is, you troll the enemy team as much as your own. Make it fun to watch.

Trolling doesn't mean doing things that deliberately lose the game. It means doing something that shouldn't work and making it work. Like ADC Camille or AP Support Nasus. Or Taiko Ornn.

If more trolls thought this way, League would be a much more entertaining place.

Key word normal, lul, no such thing in this game, alright, the reason why there are so many trolls is because of people made them into it, the constant flame, arguing with a dingus but can't understand reason begged them to get reported and sheeple follow it agreeing, and un fun 1 sided snowballs while the team twiddles their thumbs really hurts your sanity, yes they may not be experienced as you, and the twitch really shoulda just roamed instead of laning cause he's good at that, but barely anyone knows how to help the tilted, all they do is throw fire into it and gives them more passion to screw u over for being a knob to them, shoulda be praising his sick stealth jukes challenjour mechanics and that he should from fountain with his ult lul, placing sightstones in fountain saying vision is the gonna win the game woooo adcs 2k17, They have their reasons, you just gotta understand, like if he can get 1 shotted and your team doesn't have any carrys besides him then there's no point really playing.

I mean i used to "troll" to have fun. The good kind like kench top or yorick support with zz rots the kind that tilts the enemy. But then people got serious and i started getting punished for it.Lesson learned the game is about following the meta nd trying your hardest every game.

Because Riot promote trolling and punish the victims.

Just look at the mechanics. A single troll will destroy hundreds or thousands of matches for others before they get punished, and even then the punishment won't prevent them from continuing to troll, whereas everyone who tries to fight the troll gets punished as well, and those who try to escape the trolling even get punished immediately by LeaverBuster.

Even if you do nothing at all, you are still being forced to actively play a lost and un-fun game while being harassed at the same time for up to an hour. That is clearly giving the trolls all the power.

Riot loves people like this it seems. The fact that they are soo heavy with the ban hammer and punish anyone from trying to leave a game like this is proof that Riot prefers trolls over anyone who actually tries to play. Leveling up is the worst because it's nothing but bored plat smurfs and trolls who made new accounts. I seriously don't know why I still play this shit game lol

Apparently Riot wants your money.

well in my mind there are 3 kinds of trolls/3 reasons to trolls

  1. kind is the "ok i do bad but i dont accept this and blame it on my team. wtf my team is so shit fuck them its lost anyways"
  2. is the kind of troll that just enjoys to piss ppl off. you know the standard troll
  3. is the kind who got banned/chatrestricted and now is like "wow i had a troll, called him out and got punished. now i just troll aswell and let others suffer since riot isnt doing shit"

so yea. pick one

Because this is the only game that has players so sensitive, they get triggered by anything.

Try trolling in any other game than LoL, and notice how they react.
