14 Day Suspension? How?

So - I was playing a game this morning and had a Fiora on our team that was being very toxic and cussing us out - I reported him and got feedback that he got a penalty... and apparently I got a 14 day ban for this:

Is there any way to appeal this? I don't think I deserve a 14 day ban from that chat log especially since I was literally responding to the toxic guy who was actually cussing at us and name calling/etc... :( RIP

Did you have a previous 25-game chat restriction? Because if so the repeated callouts of other player's behavior -- combined with moments like "grow up" -- could push you over into 14-day ban territory. Having someone trolling you or harassing you is never fun, but it's also not something that you need to let everyone else know about, as their behavior is visible to others and one report is all it takes to cause a review. Simply mute the offending party and play on.

You can try to appeal it, but you deserved the next punishment level. The report Fiora remarks multiple times were argumentative, and are considered flaming. 1 or 9 reports flag that user, that game. Needlessly saying Report Fiora many times just gets the team debating it, arguing, and serves to tilt the Fiora further. It's a literal attack on the player thru the chat and you can be better. You also had a few other obnoxious moments that are questionable but you definitely aren't terrible and should be able to fix your behavior for sure.

Hey! Dont bother getting second hand information! Go straight to the source! Look up the summoners code, take a read at the rules, and compare it to your chat log. You will find for yourself what rules you broke! Its simple and you dont have to waste time asking strangers who dont actually have access to anymore information than you! You can do it, I know you can!

The more you argue with your team, the higher chance it will get flagged by the IFS. You were generally negative in your speech, and repeatedly asking for reports is also considered toxic behavior. You can try to appeal, but if you had a 25 game chat restriction already, it's unlikely they will repeal this ban.

You do a lot of report calling and that can count as harassment. I cannot see anything positive coming out of that and thus I also count that as negative attitude. I see nothing that would cause a 14-day ban unless you have already received a 24-chat ban before - so I presume you have had one of those before.

A warning: If you read the suspension message very carefully, you notice that it is your final warning. The next time you are punished for anything, the punishment is Permanent Suspension. So if you wish to keep your account, it is time to clean up your act totally. Nothing negative ever again or permanent ban is likely to hit you.
