Toxicity Penalties

I've been playing league of legends for about 5 years now. Within those 5 years, I've had 2 accounts permanently banned, and I spent 600$+ accumulated between both of those accounts. The reason for the perma bans were because I was toxic in chat. Although I understand the PURPOSE of a perma ban, I find that a BETTER result can be achieved with a different punishment. Perma-muting can be a thing, or heavy chat restrictions. It's quite annoying that I lost out on quite a bit of money because other players were sensitive towards the way I type.

Perma mute = You can't type in game, you can only see what your team says.

Heavy chat restriction = You are limited from chatting so severely, to the point where you can only choose from a few PRE-SELECTED phrases to say in-game. These phrases can be something along the lines of "Enemy Mid Laner Missing". The purpose of chat is to be able to communicate with your team. If you use this for being toxic, which I did, then you can be restricted to ONLY communicating positively with your team.

I'm not trying to imply that I didn't deserve any punishment or that i'm perfect, but we're all human. We do get angry at games, and we do sometimes have to vent our frustrations, and sometimes not in the best way possible.

I'd appreciate some POSITIVE feedback on this post, without criticism or personal attacks. I made this post simply for information regarding the "flaw" in the system that I identified, and feedback regarding the alternatives I provided.
