ok so i got a ban from chat was interested in why since i dont really argue and i mute people who want to argue with me since the game allows me that option im kind of confused why they would chat restrict me for muting a player who was toxic. This is one frustrating thing about this game the people here are very toxic there is a mute option and if i use it on players i will be banned??? I dont see what i said that was toxic i allowed players to report me who wanted to for me muting but is that bannable i dont want to hear you trash talk me so you ban me. I have played this game since beta and it seems its worse each year with the toxicness idk how much longer ill play other games are taking more of my time, but i feel if the toxic community wasnt there i would play this more. What do yall think

While it's not going to net you a chat restriction by itself, taunting your teammates with the fact that you muted them is horrible sportsmanship and is almost certainly more damaging to your team cohesion than whatever the teammate did to deserve a muting. There's just no point in doing it, beyond pissing somebody off or trying to punish them for their actions.

What probably pushed you over the edge is that, not only did you taunt your teammates, but you continually harass them in chat over this fact, AND bullying them with your (incorrect) knowledge of the behavioral system. Plus, calling for reports is toxic behavior, and would have contributed to the chat restriction.

Obviously these logs aren't as directly antagonistic as the logs of some other folks out there who hurl direct insults and hate speech at their teammates, but they have the potential to be just as damaging. If I were your teammate, even if you never directly addressed me, I'd absolutely report you for logs like this. Why? Because you're going out of your way to piss off your own team, using chat for no better reason than to make yourself feel better at the expense of team cohesion. If you put my teammate on tilt with your antics, whether or not they "deserved" it, I'd be furious.

Treat your teammates with respect. If you don't think they deserve your respect, treat them with silence.

Lol just mute them next time without telling them. You rub it in their faces that you muted them. What is the point of that? Why do you continue talking to them and reminding them they're muted? What's your reason for that?

U kinda are a duechebag telling ppl they muted its toxic if u mute them mute em and be done woth it dont be repeating it ur tryna bait them into being more toxic like tht just mute and play on altho this isn chat res worthy but i can see why u prob got alot of reports u seem to do it alot

Based on what I've seen happen, this is absolutely game to be chat banned. Is it right? Absolutely not. The chat feature is absolutely worthless if it's only able to be used to say "gg" or things like that. If 95% of chat is considered bad behavior if you argue with someone (keeping it civil, no name calling, etc), then why have a chat system at all? Clearly there is a massive fail here if you have a ping system, and people still have to be banned just because they state a disagreement with another player in chat. The community of players is NOT getting better because of these rules, and here is yet another example of a stupid ban that doesn't actually translate to better player behavior.

hahahaah nice ban but i had more stiupid reason to get banned was talking on chat with my freind he is from Danmark and i wrote blink (which is kys in Denmark) and get pernamently banned fucking idiot Americans made abbreviation kys and I cant say BLINK CMON

Sending in a support ticket is your best option.

My guess, " this punishment is valid because of your generally negative attitude and calling for reports".
