If Someone Is Being Toxic/Bad Mouthing You

Do not respond, just continue to do your best.

Some people get bored trolling/flaming if the victim doesn't respond. It'll dig into their skin that they are wasting their time spouting slurs. (probably).

I had a game as support playing Lulu against Blitzcrank . Been a while since I played support and yeah, I was dying a few times, not very successful lane. My ADC starting burning me with how bad I was and how I'm useless. But I didn't respond at all, didn't try to make excuses or retaliate. Toward the end of the game he actually apologized for being so angry before. We lost but everyone had fun in the end.

Sometimes instead of trying to quench a flame, sometimes it's best to let it burn out on it's own.

(just my experience)

I abuse the hell out of the mute button now, even if it's not directed towards me, if someone says something even slightly passive aggressive, or insulting, they are instant muted, and i don't bother saying "muted" or anything, and then i make sure to leave the match the moment it's done which kind of sucks because i want to honor people, but don't want to see anything the toxic player has to say xD

Sometimes you just can't win fully, idk, maybe we should have an option to mute people permanently xD

Had a recent ARAM game where the other team was winning quite heavily due to early pressure from their comp. As they got to our inhib one player on their team started with the "ez" spam. Another lost team fight and they were close to winning prompted more "ez" spam from the same player. Guess which team lost the game and who was gone before from the lobby before anyone else got there? I don't often get to be on the winning side against morons like that but it sure feels good knowing they were likely burning with rage afterwards. Either way I got the moral high ground by saying nothing and just getting on with it.

Yup. Some people just get really passionate about playing. So I tend to just ignore them. If they lash out at other people I just tell people to mute them so we can focus on working together.
