Contradicting answer from support and the unrealistic expectations on a player

So, two very conflicting chats taken a month apart:

(01:51:03 AM) Pommy7: Hello, I recently got a chat ban which dropped my honor, if I were to rebuild my honor by the time season ends would I still get ranked rewards? (01:51:41 AM) *** Agent 007 joined the chat *** (01:51:41 AM) Agent 007: hey hey (01:51:47 AM) Pommy7: hello there (01:51:53 AM) Agent 007: yes (01:51:54 AM) Agent 007: you still have time to reach honor level 2 before the end of hte season (01:52:00 AM) Agent 007: but you do need to play a lot of games with zero negativity (01:52:00 AM) Pommy7: perfect, thank you! (01:52:07 AM) Agent 007: np (01:52:12 AM) Pommy7: I will, i had a very bad two games it seemed

And this one, taken today on 10/03/2018 (02:11:30 AM) Pommy7: would more games increase the leveling process was the question (02:12:14 AM) Legendary: playing more games and not getting any valid reports would help (02:12:33 AM) Pommy7: what about receiving an invalid report? (02:15:10 AM) Legendary: that won't impact your Honor gains (02:15:20 AM) Pommy7: is there enough time left (02:16:25 AM) Legendary: likely not (02:16:37 AM) Legendary: the season usually ends in early November

So, which answer was correct? I have been keeping a very long going spreadsheet of the amount of games I have played receiving honors, with no chatting (mute all) and with no negative chatting while being positive. I played well over 100 games with /muteall, well over 200 with friendly chat, no flaming, negativity, etc, to the point where I play games nonstop on my days off. I have received well over 400 mixed honors in this time. The question I have is, what is the realistic expectation to reach level 2 after a 10 game chat restriction that brought an account to level 0 (Im just as confused as to how it dropped it to 0 too, so lets not make this about that) an entire month of playing almost nearly straight, and one checkpoint in progress, with conflicting and dodgy answers from support. Lets be realistic and honest as season is coming to an end, and have set expectations.

They aren't actually that contradicting. A month can be a significant amount of time. 2 months without issue has a good chance. If you haven't recovered at least half way then 1 month would probably not help.

Additionally, it is a safe smart answer. If he says yes and then you don't then it becomes "OMG Riot Support lied to me!"

{quoted}So, two very conflicting chats taken a month apart:

These chats don't seem conflicting at all.

  • One says you still have time to reach Honor 2, but you have to play a lot of games with no negativity.
  • The other says you likely do NOT have time, and playing more games with no valid reports will help.

These two both say the same thing: the more games you have, and the better your behavior, the faster you rebuild your honor.

It varies from person to person based on your behavior in-game, the amount of honor received, and possibly other factors we aren't aware of.

well only one true way to know... play as much as you can and dont get any valid reports and hope you get honored alot and see what happens. whats done is done all you can do is try.

I went from 0 honor to honor 3 in about a month playing about 6 games a day on average I think. I am back to honor 0 but that's a whole different thing
