Ranked Suggestions

Hello Riot,

I have some ideas on how to fix some problems with ranked. I hope you see this because this would help the dynamic of ranked play and the game itself. I've been playing league off and on for some time now. The one problem I have had many times are people that d/c in the middle of a ranked game. Whether it is intentional or not, there has to be some chance that players don't get penalized because of a d/c.

My suggestion is that there should be little to no penalties in ranked play for a person that d/cs during the game. In a perfect world, the team that loses would not lose any lp and the opposing team would gain a tiny bit of lp from the game so that the ranked game would not be a waste of time. but because the perfect world does not exist, the best scenario would be is if someone d/cs on your team you lose around 5 lp while if your on the other team you gain around 5 lp. This would help with the scenarios where the d/cs could not be helped because of an internet issue. Also to help improve this feature is to make sure one cannot be demoted from a d/c loss. This would ensure fairness since it would be out of his control.

Now there should be a penalty in place for those that do d/c. This is a very serious problem because people that d/c should realize that it is not acceptable. There could be a ban on ranked for those that constantly d/c during games as well as a low priority queue. This would ensure that rage quitters and toxic people do not get the satisfaction of watching people suffer. This would also ensure that people do not purposely d/c from their game to save the lp of their teammates. The people that do d/c should lose the full lp amount of the game. This would help people to realize the impact of them leaving during a game.

This game is my life. I know it seems weird, but I love this game and would love to see it keep improving. Thank you for your time.
