I simply asked who he was saying KYS to and he kept flaming me in all chat and telling people to report me cause i wasnt camping bot... he told people on my team to KYS and called us F@$ also... I personal dont think i should get a 14 ban for this..........
Just wanted to step in here real quick as Player Support and say that the player did indeed reach out to us and after chatting with them, the ban was removed.
As a reminder, you NEVER have to or should repeat what other players say in-game that is considered offensive and punishable. The best action is to report them at the end of the game so the systems can review their account and behavior.
So you got banned because the word "kys" was in your question, you don't deserve a ban whatsoever. Submit a ticket and I hope riot will reconsider.
You can try a support ticket claiming that you were baited, but repeating the offending words of others is a terrible idea and you probably should have known better. Let flamers scream into the void, you don't need to engage them.
This proves how Riots punishment system is bad and has to be improved. You don't deserve a ban at all, not even a chat restriction. But, the main problem here isn't the 14 days suspension, it's the fact that your next punishment is going to be permanent. From now on, you have to barely use chat only to shot call just to make sure you didnt type any bad word. And man be carefull, if you are playing with your friends, dont make "bad" jokes with them because system will mark those words and permaban you.
So basically by making these instant bans out of context and instantly banned by bots Riot is just stopping the use of specific triggers. It doesn't matter if you actually argue that one should kill themselves and make them suicide as long as you avoid writing the trigger. If you don't know these words result in instant ban in any context, you're fucked. Why not at least make this information equally reachable then? Just write in support page that "it's fine as long as you don't write kys in any situation, or you get banned." I'm aware that writing this makes no sense, but neither does doing it.
Don't repeat the words even if your asking why they said or who they said it to, if you're reported and you've repeated zero tolerance words well you end up in this situation.
As others have said submit your support ticket, I wish you all the beat and hope you get it overturned, good luck nd remember don't repeats their words!

This game punishment system is garbage now. I don't know why they removed the tribunal. The auto bans are mostly crap and caused because of trolls and the support workers don't do anything. I have no idea what they even get paid for. I just got a 14 day on my account, from one game where our player started griefing purposely throwing. Talking shit about us about to lose. How he was in charge etc. All mad because he died once going 1v4 and we didn't save him. Should have seen his chat, but because I was mad about that I was suspended. Awesome sauce.
