I'm a challenger and I got permabanned for inting 0/1

ºïﺷ8/1/2018, 8:18:05 PM·9 votes·6,187 views

Here's the context:

So I was playing normally given the fact that I got off-role and my teams were trying out new stuff. I did some background check on op.gg and now that they were playing for fun (because it's flex 5s). I was trying to play serious because I want to get challenger (As you can see I've been playing flex 5s a lot, so I take it seriously). However, they did not even try their best (playing new champs) and just kept dying 10 times pre 15. I did try my best to farm to catch up with the top laner of the enemy team and I don't even play top role. They kept feeding even though I tried to ping and show them what should they do. However, they decided to not listen and said it's just flex. I was really mad because I tried hard and they did not take it seriously. We agreed that we're gonna ff at 15 (KOREA OPEN), because there's no point in the game that we could have a comeback and my teammates were not familiar with the champs that they were playing.

I know people have bad games sometimes, but getting permabanned for this is it kinda too much for banning system? Also, Riot should assign people who at least have the minimum knowledge about the game to deal with ingame related issues. The riot supporter I've talked to jumped right in the assumption that I ran it down mid and died in the middle of the enemy's fountain. I've been trying to explain to her that in high elo, we do Korea Open to move on to the next game faster, so there's no point of playing out the game like she keeps telling me to.

Chat log can't be provided because it against subreddit's rule.

So I can spot at least three other games of yours where you're doing the same thing: building tears when the end of the game is over 5 minutes away. Your recent Diana game, you had a tear-build for 11 minutes. That's what you were punished for: intentionally not trying.

Luckily this isn't a subreddit, so chat logs can be shown.

We agreed that we're gonna ff at 15 (KOREA OPEN)...

Hey, quick question: Did the enemy team agree to let you open and give them a free win?

'Cause they exist too. Opening lanes and forfeiting before Surrender votes pass is against the rules. It doesn't matter if that's something high-elo players do, it's against the rules.

If you(your whole team) agree to ff 15, why did one of the games you played last 22min (you bought tears at 11min). So after buying tears at 11 min, to end the game faster which EVERYONE from your team agreed on, you played until 22 min?

Why and how? I highly doubt that your whole team agreed to surrend at 11min, since then why does it take ANOTHER 11 min to end the game?

Ps.: Your argument ONLY works, if you lose this way before 15 min, which happened ONCE (at least from what i've seen). You do NOT want PPL to see your build? (The bought items, with times are on op.gg, everyone can see your builds, no matter what you do at the end...)

The reason "Korean open" or whatever is still against the rules, is because Riot doesn't want to investigate every game to make sure everyone verbally(textually I guess?) agreed to it. So if even one person didn't want to ff the game, and you intentionally died or sold all your items to buy your HILARIOUS tears (because you're sad you lost, I get it! Omg that's so fucking funny dude wow you're hilarious) it is against the rules. So just play it safe and be more subtle about giving up completely in the future. It's literally stated that it is against the rules.

You decided to sell your stuff and buy tears at 8 minutes. That's halfway to the earliest FF. The summoner's code says "Always play to win" which you clearly don't do.

Just because you're in high elo, it doesn't mean other rules apply to you compared to the rest of us, so something like "open korea" is utter bs and is punished as inting accordingly.

Wait..

You got chatlogs? Or are you punished for inting?

Also, this isn't reddit.

100% agree with you here. I get a troll at least once every 20 games or so who "give up" and play without the intent of winning and they still exist in large numbers. It almost seems as if you are being punished more heavily or looked into more because of your higher rank. Sad. Guess there's no reason to climb if going 0/1 as a challenger is considered intentionally feeding?

You're whole team was doing bad, and all agreed to surrender at 15. Heck, you guys couldn't even do so as the game ended beforehand. I honestly bet you are the only one who was punished. You died at ur own base, and bought the items knowing the game was a loss along with the rest of the team. I see nothing wrong here.

As far as im concerned, opening is grounds enough for punishment.

Why are you playing flex instead of solo if you're worried about people not taking it seriously?

The Highest Noon8/2/2018, 5:24:21 PM1 votes

The only question I have is, were you inting? If yes, well you get punished. If no, then you have an argument for your case.

Hyquiem8/1/2018, 10:58:10 PM1 votes

That explains why most people are low elo.

Hello,

It looks like AAAA gave you some context on what lead to this ban. This ban wasn't a mistake it was the direct result of you choosing to grief your team and not playing to win. This is reoccurring behavior on your account and is why it lead to this permaban after you had gotten several chances in the past. If you don't take accountability for your actions why should we be willing to give you any more chances on the account?

Hi,

Let's look at the context. It was a flex ranked game, where people are put in random elo and higher chance of filled and people trying out new stuff. Knowing of the problem, I did try to play out the game. However, it is hard sometimes for a team to comeback with teammates who were trying out new champs and died 7 times pre 15. I know people have bad games (Eve went 2/7, Varus went 0/4), but I was banned because I was ''intentionally feeding''. I did try to play the game to win, however, there are facts that the game is already over. The base was destroyed at 15, not even ''surrender''. I was happy to play my off-role which was top and I tried my best to not feed. And the reason I sold my items AT THE END of the game to buy tears because I do not want people to know my build sometimes. Please reconsider my case. I believe that I have been improving my behaviors or such a long time. It was not like I ran it down mid or afk from the beginning if you look at the stats in the match history.

Thank you,

Heya,

AAAAAAA here taking over for Legendary. I took another look at your ban and the game that caused it. Unfortunately, since I see you dying in the middle of the enemy fountain, and selling your build for all tears part way through the game( around 8 minutes) this ban was placed fairly. We are more than willing to talk to you about the possibility of getting your account back but like Legendary said you'll have to feel comfortable with being accountable for your actions. Let us know if you're willing to chat about this, if not we will close the ticket shortly.

Please double check. They killed me in my own fountain, NOT the enemy fountain.

There was no sign of me dying in the enemy fountain.

Please double check. They killed me in my own fountain, NOT the enemy fountain.

Hey,

You're absolutely right, you did die in your own fountain and not the enemies, sorry about that mix up. However, it still stands that it's pretty clear that the game wasn't played out to the end with the intent to win. We're still open to discussing possibly reducing your permaban but we'll need you to be open and honest with us. Let us know if you'd like to talk about it and we can go from there.

Hi there,

I get not doing awesome in an autofill lane, and I see you take this seriously considering you're challenger. Unfortunately teammates don't always listen and all we can is focus on our own play when that happens. What I see when I look at this game is that it wasn't just a bad game but instead you were playing the game without the intent of winning. Even if you agree to FF at 15, you should play the game out. I'm looking into the other players in the game as well to see if the intent is there too but I won't be able to discuss that outcome with you.

I'll be closing out this ticket but if you want to re-evaluate your behaivor you can create another ticket.
