Is it just me?

Or are there WAY fewer trolls and flamers in my games than what you'd expect from reading this board?

I mean everywhere you look there's someone complaining they were penalized because they were "defending themselves". And sure, the response is to just mute, which is the correct course of action. But I rarely even end up doing that much.

Where are you guys finding all of these flamers?

I've recently started logging the toxicity in my games. After 57 games, I got 1 game with hate speech, 1 game with people calling others retard, . 17 games with people calling for reports.

Well... no ones gonna come to the boards to talk about an uneventful game where everything went normally and no one flamed. Of course it's different than the impression you'd get on the player behavior boards, where players talk about poor player behavior. Anyone who takes this forum as an example of what your average LoL game will be like, is a simple minded, child-like person.

Well you aren't going to see posts of people praising players for playing the game and communicating as expected.

Play 10 games in a row of jungle, alone (no premades). Log the number of games in which you face toxicity. You will get your answer.

I feel like a get a lot of trolls, or people that DC or int. I will have to keep track of it going forward. I think it has to do with the time I usually play. Generally I only get to play late at night. When I do get a chance to play during the day my experience tends to be much better.

Wait, wait, wait... you expect the ratio of post about banned toxic accounts on these boards to all posts to be the same as the ratio of games with that kind of toxicity to all the games you play? Why?

Just ban your team mates intended pick. Pretty consistent way to get a reaction out of toxic people.

Trolls are not so obvious these days. They don't chat because Riot is incredibly lenient on game play while being strict on chat.

It's the vocal majority. The real number is always smaller than what it looks like on the public boards.

i tend to see flamers very often but not that heavy flames (mostly tilt flames or something)

trolls are very rare here (talking about real trolls not ppl who pick/build off meta)
