sorry for this being so long but i want to know why i got banned for playing the game for the 1st time in weeks and u cant ask riot what u did wrong in player support...

Also by default, anyone who asks others to report someone loses any and all sympathy from me. Because that means that you either have no clue how the report system works, or you're just as toxic as the others and spread this toxicity.

the system seems to give them out a lot easier now

i made a new account, got into it with a troll and got 10 chatbans for one game, no swearing, no name calling, nothing inflammatory, it may actually be getting worse for next season

basically you are at the mercy of all trolls and shitty players who don't care if they win or not but choose to play ranked and you get to never give feedback on your experience in this game concerning these things, despite the fact that they DEFINE the user experience - considering doing so gets you chatbans, and telling Riot does absolutely nothing for you.

The game will continue losing players and in 5 years it will be completely dead...but oh well, it's too bad people haven't been voicing their concern on these issues for years....

You technically were hassling/harrassing your team too. If you don't agree with a teammate just mute them, don't waste words or time. It's never worth it.

Calling for reports alongside passive-aggressive behavior is the reason for your chat restriction. Report calling is pointless since it only takes one report to flag a game for review, which is then thrown out if nothing of guilt is found. In the future avoid that and avoid intentionally provoking people, as even if they started it or are behaving worse their poor behavior doesn't give yours a free pass.

Dude youre practically petitioning for reports against one player. Youre singling out leona and harassing her. Then you went on to argue in chat about some petty shit that has nothing to do with setting up a play or strategy to win the game. Pretty fuckin obvious.

Riot cares more about banning people for...well.....being people. I mean how they expect people to react when they have some trashcan on their team dying every 30 seconds. They would never ban or otherwise punish the feeding 0-6 garbage adc. Just adapt. I've gotten like 3 or 4 chat bans this season because of shitheads, trolls and feeders. I don't talk much in games anymore. When I get a team of inting shitheads, I call for a surrender as soon as I could and if they refuse, I just afk farm a side lane, and int into Baron from time to time. I don't say a word and the game usually ends in a timely manner. After that, I play Hearthstone for the rest of the day.

Bottom line, we rage because it's not fun losing to shit we cannot control, like inting trash team mates. This happens enough times and we explode in chat eventually. Just play less like I'm doing. Find another game you like and play that when League starts becoming unfun.

It seems to me that not only did you call for a report, but the calling for a report lead to direct harassment of an ally/enemy. Then you edged players on in a not-so-nice manner on why they're reporting you.

You deserve this buddy.

Hopefully a rioter or someone can come on and clarify for you since everything people have already said isn't getting to you.

You were likely restricted due to the amount of messages that you sent to them for no reason.

It is viewed as argueing, which nobody really wants to see. Plus there was some flame.... "atleast the support helped.", "0/6 adc" etc. This is seen as passive aggressive behavior.

Chat restriction is pretty much viewed by Riot as a "hey, this isnt good. This is a warning that you should stop." 25 game means either you had a 10 game semi recently, or that the amount of text back and forth was an overly excessive amount, enough so that it skipped the 10 game.... but chances are you had a 10 game before.

Riots policy on dealing with assholes in league is u must smile and ask for more. It's why this game is so saturated in trolls is because they know they can bait u, and they live for that notification that they got u restricted. And it's easy to do in a way that they themselves will never trigger the system.
