I just got permanently banned... grouped up on

When you go into a ranked match and 4 other players talk smack to you from the begining of the game, there is nothing you can do but mute tell them shut up. I did both. YOu cant mute the whole team. but as I read there is nothing that i said to offend. I quit laning with the person that was complaining about me(he went adc with me as well because the new ranked system put me at adc and he didnt like that). So all his friends talked shet to me about that the whole game, yet none of their actions got them in trouble. I find this happens only in ranked. You get grouped up on then they all report the loner. Its happened six times in the last 2 months since ive started ranked.

I dont start the toxic rudeness and i generally tell them ill report if they dont stop then i mute. but I get ganged up on by the rest of the team when I mute their friend. NOw Im permanently banned. This is seriously ridiculous. These are the messages and remembr someone and or the entire rest of the team is talking trash. Not to mention the crap that gets said after the end of game. This is definitly two ways. And to top this off I get a caht messge from them saying did I get banned because nothing happened to them. this is bS.

"I only told them to shut up then muted them" - Proceeds to post a reform card with multiple lines of text in each game showing they were clearly toxic and did far more than muting them and asking them to shut up.

Several things stand out here.

  1. Getting reported by one player in a game is about the same as getting reported by your whole team. That is to say, the system takes number of games reported into account more than number of reports in a game. This is set up specifically to mitigate the situation of a premade ganging up on somebody.

  2. You say there's nothing to do but mute them and tell them to shut up. In reality, the only thing you should do is just mute them. If they're just spouting toxicity or arguing, there's nothing of value in chat that you're missing anyhow. And as far as your communication goes, pinging is perfectly sufficient to communicate whatever you need to in game. Heck, most players will play most games without saying a word in chat.

  3. To add to the above, you didn't even just tell these people to shut up. You continued to engage with them the entire game. You stooped to their level and were an equal contributing factor to the negative environment of the game.

  4. Don't tell people you'll report them, or use reporting as a threatening tool. It's pointless, only causes negativity, and actually counts as a form of harassment that can get you banned.

  5. Retaliation is never okay. You are held responsible for your own actions. You have a choice in how you're going to handle these situations, and you chose poorly.

Yeah just mute them, I mean I hate doing it but when I get trolled in a lot of my games lately with the new champion selection its great I do a lot better compared to feeding in a bot lane, but I often get trolls who go jungle run in my lane and throw me hard especially going against a hard counter, then everyone gets mad when the game becomes really hard (Can only mute the ignorant) when they choose to argue.

And yes players passively feed to make people use comments like dumbass, and troll, anyone taking "Teemo Top" IMO is a troll unless there is a specific reason, or others playing to off-set the weight you can often expect your games to go bad.

i dont think people realize the basic logic of raging... you rage because your team is losing, so your solution is to afk, not help the team and cry making you lose even more? but worth!! raged all game about teemo ammumu sivir and kindred telling them they are being reported yet i bet you none of them got banned and you ended up being banned. but dont matter, you stated in all your games that you dont care, so its all fine. yet you cry again about being ban in boards? the logic????

I'm actually glad that you got perma banned, Just by reading your chat logs you immediately recognize(In my opinion anyway) as those 12 year old kids with horrible grammar, Spewing your shit all game((And who's to say what was said in post game lobby... that isnt shown)) and never have any clue of the reprecussions of your actions. <3
