In champion select jungle says he doesn't have smite and needs to swap. Op.gg says he's level 110 so he has smite, he's also in a ranked queue which means he needs to have all summoners and runes. This man is premade with Miss Fortune ADC and Ekko Support. He continues on about how he doesn't have smite and needs to swap. My premade (ADC/mid player) offers him to pick ww and he will jungle. I say "I could jungle", he turns down both these offers and locks in rammus. Miss Fortune then says "ULTIMATE BRAVERY" in the chat as the game starts. Rammus first item is boots, Miss fortune started dorans blade and ekko dorans ring. MF and Ekko build adaptive helm, MF then build gargoyles stoneplate. Ekko went Infinity Edge. Rammus built essence reaver.

Somebody please tell me this is bannable.

Seeing as in theory they are still playing to win, it isn't at this point.

The only part of Ultimate Bravery that would be directly considered trolling is Rule 4: Don't use Wards.

I suppose for those who are in the JG role that not selecting smite would be frowned upon, and potentially punishable.

But, as long as the players are trying to win, then any champion, any runes, any summoner spells, any skill maxed first, and any build that contributes useful stats are acceptable. For example AP Zed would be punished as he has absolutely no AP scaling, but AD Zac is acceptable because he has an auto attack.

I'd say treat it like other off-meta play. They need to communicate their intentions before the game starts and get full agreement before going ahead with it, especially in ranked. And if I or a teammate is in promos? Yeah, I'm reporting that.

In Normals, I still think it's a dick move to pull without letting your team know but if I know during champ select? I might actually join the insanity.

Its not, sorry. Riot doesnt enforce any kind of meta, even in ranked, and thus you have to deal with being matched with casuals and careless individuals who try stupid shit just for fun sometimes.
