Someone explain to me why this game is fun?

So, the only constant things I can find about this game are:

  1. The only thing that matters (for your grade or otherwise) is how much farm you have. You can roam and help get objectives and do all the things that they say to do to win, but all it does is gimp you to the point where your opponent (who has been sitting in lane farming while you're trying to play as a team) one-combos or two-shots you because they've got the gold advantage.

  2. A team will execute a three-man gank (while they're fed) and act like they just made the greatest play in LoL history, spamming their mastery and every emote they have while usually talking shit to you in all-chat. I get it. You do something really great and outplay someone and wanna celebrate...fine. If you capitalize on a fairly regular gank, just take your kill and keep playing. I get it. I'm bronze. I'm awful at the game and I should just uninstall (as I've been told on several occasions), whatever. But, really? Have at least a little bit of sportsmanship...especially in a situation where you got fed off somebody being afk or a situation where the other team had to wait for the obligatory 15 minutes to surrender since it's snowballing that hard.

  3. Riot designed their characters to counter each other so badly that the other person has a completely unplayable experience. If you aren't playing one of the 10 best champions in the game and someone counterpicks you, may as well just sit in the fountain. There are so many times where you can do everything right and just get bodied because someone had the luxury of picking after you. It's terrible design in my opinion. Making 90 percent of your roster able to be nullified by a simple choice...and then having option 2 come into play where not only can you not play the damn game, you also have to sit there and listen to some idiot berate you for 15 minutes about how they're so much better at this than you are and that you should go kill yourself is just a maddening experience.

I've had the occasional "good game" where it's actually a back and forth affair and I feel like either team could come out on top, but most of the time, it's a surrender and a 20-30 kill 10-15k gold advantage for one team and a "why the hell do I even bother clicking the play button" type of experience. So, I ask the community and the creators, why would I or anybody else I know want to spend time and effort participating in this?

And I know, I know I'm just inviting a bunch of 12 and 13-year olds to jump down my throat and tell me to "git gud you [insert gay or racial slur here]," but honestly, you'd be proving my point if you did, so go for it. I can't figure out how this community is THIS bad on a regular basis at all levels but the top.

LoL is hardly the only multi-player or MOBA game out there. If you no longer find the game fun, just move on to another game. It's a free to play, free to leave game. It's much better than keep wallowing in your belief that LoL has bad community and eventually become toxic and lose your account anyway. Can just move on...

Always remember. This is a game that should be played to have fun. If you are no longer having fun, find something else to play.

Why do I get the feeling that you need a break?

You are not going to win every game and unless you are able to carry...you are at the mercy of your team mates to carry you until you learn how to. Judging by your match history...your champion pool is all over the place from Ezreal, Karma, Xerath, Ahri, Varus, Katarina and Diana. Those champions all play differently I get the post is "why is the game fun anymore" but it seems you are tilted at the moment. Try one tricking for a while pick a champion you love to play not because its "meta" you dont need to be counter picking in bronze anyways as mechanics and macro and micro are all pretty low anyways. Pick a fun champion, I see you really like to play varus and Akali most. I would recommend spending 100 games each on Varus, Akali and Ezreal with 2 more pocket picks and get realllllly good at them if Fun for you is winning. If you look my history up I stay bronze on purpose because its fun for me to level up champs while not playing with such intent and focus as I would at gold or plat level. That is what I consider fun. I like playing and trying different builds out and once all champions are ranked to 5 (excluding my mastery 7 zed and teemo my mains) Then I will actualy put forth effort into climbing.

Tl:DR Pick your favorite champion spend 100 or so games on them to learn them in and out, Stop worrying about your team so much focus on your lane and do what is fun for you regardless the outcome of win or lose enjoy your time on the rift even if its a 15 min FF or a 60 minute grind fest.

  1. If you are roaming for objectives you should have already pushed your lane beforehand to buy yourself time to complete the objective whether it be a gank/drag w/e. The gold advantage should not be so significant that you are out of the game if you complete your obj and then go back to lane to farm. There's something here you might be missing.

  2. All of those things can be muted (even emotes) if it bothers you that much. Yea its not fun to get spammed after getting killed, but if it really is affecting your gameplay or mental simply mute it. Only a button click away

  3. Unfortunately Pick order is a thing, and you may have to change to a character that doesn't have such a bad matchup with whom you are going against. There are 140+ champions in league and they do not all hard counter eachother, its very possible to find yourself at least a neutral matchup if you don't like any of the champions that counter theirs. If you really only play one champion you can always ask another laner politely to switch because you're about to have a bad time. If that doesn't work either then unfortunately you're just going to have to suck it up and try and play safely at your tower and wait for your jungle or other laners to help you. If they do not, then its a team failure rather than just yours.

Im not going to tell you to git gud, but there does seem to be some knowledge missing that could really help you. I'm not high elo either brother but the more you know the more things will make sense. There's a huge difference in knowing WHY you are behind and WHY its a bad match than just kinda winging it and hoping for the best. I needed to do the same when I was in the depths of bronze.
