Team is allowed to blatantly int and feed but don't you dare type anything to them or punished.

Recently got a chat restriction and when I looked at the text, they are both from games where my teammates blatantly int (0-4 jungle and top pre-6 minutes) in my ranked solo/duo games. There is no punishment for blatant feed, refusing to participate in objectives, etc. but don't you dare say anything to these people to try and include them, you'll be trolled, and then receive a chat restriction. Game is leaning towards a target audience for kiddies. I have played since beta off and on, and spent probably $500 between different accounts. I honestly can't justify spending any more money on this game, when people aren't playing to win, and then I end up losing my honor being reported anyways. -Frustrated

{quoted} There is no punishment for blatant feed

Except that people do get punished for feeding. I know it's convenient for your internal narrative in your head, but it's not a true statement.

{quoted} but don't you dare say anything to these people to try and include them

Perhaps you need to critically think HOW you say that because I do this all the time, and am the happy recipient of 0 punishments ever. For instance, there's a difference between getting friends involved in an activity that you want them to join in on... and abduction.

{quoted} I honestly can't justify spending any more money on this game

Then don't, I don't think anyone cares at all.

Somebody else breaking the rules by inting does not make it ok for you to break them too by going keyboard warrior in chat.

Chat-based punishment nets you at minimum 10-game chat restriction. It's pretty easy to catch. You can tell one's intention based on what they say.

Inting is 14-day ban. Quite harder to catch since it's pretty hard to detect intent.

yeah the state of the game has gone rapidly downhill since the start of season 6, its not even close to being worth it to spend money on anymore, and even the new skins are just big tits waifu skins or mostly trash nobody even cares about or will never see. Like the coven skinline, i've probably seen one of them once since release in my games lol.. Even the pajama shit, i've literally never seen any of them.

You can't type in game, its an automatic chat restriction if someone reports you.

Premades are the cure. Why trust the Internet to provide anything but trouble?

JuiceBoxP2/26/2019, 4:50:32 PM3 votes

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT that the people you are talking about are LEGIT inting. I never ever see people who enter a game just to feed. I do however see people who get crushed in lane and lose badly.

On the other hand, i've seen people who simply start flaming those people "REPORT X, NOOB FEEDER X9" And then the people who got flamed start trolling hardcore because they got pissed off by the flame they received and stop playing to win.

You sound to me like the offender in the second paragraph

First of all, inting is one of the hardest things to detect unless there's a long history of it, or they admit it in chat, or you can deliberately see it by looking at the recap of the game - ALL of these things are things that the report system will have difficulty pinpointing and issuing punishments for, since it generally operates on keyword searches and pattern recognition. You are better off sending in support tickets for this behavior.

Secondly, you will not get punished for expressing how disappointed or upset you are that people are inting unless you resort to personal attacks, name calling, or basically any other kind of flaming. Saying "Stop inting guys" or "Hey Kat, can you not keep feeding Teemo?" is not going to result in a punishment, but saying "STOP FUCKING INTING" and "Uninstall if you're going to feed like an ass" will. And trolls also cannot get you punished, because the system will still be required to find you at fault for something, no matter how many people "troll" you and report you. If you did nothing wrong, you will not be punished, and the trolls will have been useless. But if they bait you into flaming them, then that's all on you, because you know flaming is against the rules. Just be smart about things, and don't complain that you got punished if you violated the rules in your anger against other people.

No one questioning this? I've seen plenty of people make dumb mistakes and get stomped on early game, which isn't considered inting.....

I just hate that if I get stuck in a game with a toxic person I have to bite my lip and sit in a fucked game for 30 minutes cause no one surrenders even though the game we're in clearly is a toxic cluster fuck. Retaliating gets you punished. Leaving the game gets you punished. Losing is a punishment. There are more punishments than there are ways out of a toxic game.

Also people are fucking soft. Even the pros are trying to bring back trash talking.

Are you under the assumption that if they get punished, you won't get punished?

hrooza dota 2/27/2019, 5:14:47 PM1 votes

if someone is trolling or feeding on propose (Read on propose) then they do that to piss up somebody.

if you flame those then you only giving them what they wanted, a damn reaction .

keep a cool head and report them after game. (tho i bet a lot of those trolls were not trolling and just had a bad game)

Everything said by the OP is true, yet he's -35 downvotes. That just goes to show you how many hypersensitive crybabies are out there who actually love this ban-everyone-whos-better-than-you system. The fact that anyone gets banned for typing when there is a MUTE button is just beyond disgusting.
