To this date I have still not received any response as to why my S2-S6 account was banned permanently. XxForeverFreexX (A Flock of Teemo).
I still love this game and I still play it. I have not spent any money on my account since this happened. I had every IP item purchased, and spent hundreds on the account. It was then banned after a random game. I asked for information on it and was ignored with over 20 emails to support.
Prior to this (back in S4) I was a pretty bad team player and ended up being muted for 7 games. During that 7 game period, I was reported for "lack of communication" and was subsequently banned (I kid you not) until January 1 1989. It took me 23 days to convince support to look at the account. They told me the automated system banned me from reports and they overturned it. This experience made me realize that there is little to no oversight in the report and ban system now that tribunal isn't a thing.
This is an attempt to bring awareness to this issue and MAYBE JUST MAYBE, get an answer as to why my account was permanently banned. Ever since the altercation in S4 I had been a solid teammate with hundreds of honors friend and foe.
Please do not take this as a "wahhh i was banned for X but I didn't do X," and please do not spam this thread with "liar, fake, wah, etc."
I had sent a ticket immediately and was told "Hello Summoner,
Your account: xxforeverfreexx was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client. We believe that all players should play on equal footing in an effort to promote competitive sportsmanship. You should be aware that modifying your League of Legends client is against the Terms of Use: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse. We hope you can see that it is unsatisfying to play against other players who are using a tool to gain an advantage over others."
At this time I was using a korean voice pack in the game because I preferred the voice acting (even though I don't understand any of it). When I asked if it was because of that I was told "We will be unable to clarify further as it would compromise our investigations and initiatives, or overturn this suspension for any reason."
Since then I have sent over 100 tickets and have not received a single response.
