Giving way to trolls.
So I currently have a ticket that will more than likely be closed as the Player Behavior & Support Specialist I was communicating with is: "feel like you're making excuses. If you have no other concerns we will be closing this request."
This is at the request of me inquiring a method to bring attention to the fact that if you report someone, you can immediately be queued with that same person the very next game. I have proof that I have sent in my ticket, but I was told to: "** I would encourage you to create a topic on the Boards. Other players may feel the same way, and through your efforts you may glean more insight from Rioters who frequent the Boards. I can't guarantee anything, but it's always worth a try.**"
Here it is. Why should I have to not play the game, just to try to prevent getting paired up with someone who I literally just reported? Think about it for a second. All the time you put in just to start playing the game, and a person ruins that experience. So you stay calm and composed, then report that person when the game is over. You shouldn't see the same person again and again unless you are at the ends of the bell curve via MMR. So why do I have to let a person who ruined a game for me "play through" to prevent me from getting paired with them again?
"XXXXXXXXX here - the report feature and matchmaking are not directly correlated. I do apologize you ran into the same negative individual again, and I understand why you're frustrated. Beyond that though, I'm afraid I can't specify any details regarding their account. That involves any potential investigations or disciplinary actions moving forward. Players may or may not be punished for the same game you reported them, but that's not to say we aren't aware of their behavior or are not addressing it appropriately. Players contributing negatively to games are tracked and punished accordingly.
With that said, this can sometimes happen if you immediately queue up to play another game right when the game ends. The system sees you and the other individual/s looking for a group at the exact same time and will occasionally pair you with or against each other. A good way to avoid this is to way a minute or two before re-queuing after you encounter negative players."
My question is why? Riot is more than willing to make us wait and not queue up for a game to avoid the toxic player. Why can't they just correlate the report feature and matchmaking? It will prevent queue dodging, unable to communicate with your team (because a player happens to be blocked, again due to toxic), and losing LP/MMR from the same persons toxicity over and over again. This is my humble request. Please let Riot listen to us when we ask for the tools to remove toxic players from our experience in the game. Thank you for your time and patience.
