Riot, Something has to give...
https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/201818740/en_US-leaverBusterWaitToQueueDialog.jpg Okay Riot i understand you are trying to do the right thing, but this is getting out of control. i was playing a game and i was going teemo mid against heimer when my internet shuts off for a second and it disconnects me from league of legends no big deal, reconnect, play, and finish the game. i did and me and my team got a victory and i got slapped with a 45 minute lever buster for reconnecting and finishing the game
Riot this is not going to fly. you seriously need to update your system. My recommendation: If they didn't agree to leaving the game by menu and it was just an internet problem or their computer shut off from overheating then they don't deserve a buster nobody's internet is 100% perfect it will go out due to weather and such.
if they reconnected to the game after fixing their internet then they don't deserve a buster
and about they abandon a game in champion select nobody likes to be held hostage in champion select if you have a guy who just doesn't want to cooperate or wants to feed instead of making his/her team waste 30min of their time just for a defeat and punishing the guy who spares his team of a defeat waste his time how about a remake button in champion select where 4 players have to agree to remake
Q: but what about the feeder
A: Easy set up a report system too and if put him in a game with other champion select trolls who have been reported 10+ times so they can all lose together just like they wanted and everyone is happy the serious players get matched with other serious players and the trolls get matched with other trolls and everything is balanced
Q: what if they learned their lesson and their feeding ways are over
A:they either have to get lots of teamwork upvotes or carry by getting an A in 10 games to make up for the 10 losses. so not only have they learned their lesson but they increased their skill by learning how to carry their team and will be a great addition on a serious team.
