Riot fix your report system

So why does no one ever get banned? Almost every game someone is toxic and says stuff like "I fuck your mother" or "ahahah ggez like your mother" and once someone went so far that he said "I will rape and kill your mother at DD.MM.2018(cant remember the day)" and none of them got banned after me and my whole team reported them. This also goes for intentional feeders who die once and say "gg idiot jg I go troll" and then just start running down mid. So I got banned for saying "kys noob" (I totally deserved the ban) but people dont get banned for literally saying that they will rape and kill my mother?!?!?!? So Riot thinks that its not ok for me to flame others but its ok for others to kill and rape my mother? I guess Im just less valuable than "YaSsSuoURMOMGEYisexurmom69" (Name was something like this but I dont want to put the right name here)

Edit: Is it possible that my reports dont do anything because I report A LOT. Even tough they are all for real reasons and not for playing badly.

I think you would do well to read this board and see just how many players get punished.

If you report a player for bad behavior, they will be punished appropriately. You may not be notified of their punishment.

Riot punishes based on consistency x severity. It also only provides you with a punishment notification if the game you reported them in is in the reform card, and the reform card shows only 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior.

Maybe many of the people you reported aren't that toxic consistently / the system deemed it not that severe, so aren't punished within the 1-5 recent games that would get you a notification.

Report weight no longer matters. If you reported them, it will get checked.

As far as them getting punished, you will only see a notice if the game you reported shows up in IFS. And checking their match history tells you nothing if the punishment level is a chat restriction.

Most of the time, it takes multiple games to hit the punishment threshold. So, by the time it goes out your report has simply been pushed out of the notification queue

Have you ever been in this board?

It's not the system that needs to be worked on. It's your attitude and self-control that needs to be worked on. You could have easily muted them instead of choosing to type back. But nope, you had to type back. Now you must endure the consequences of YOUR actions. Not others.

Mute. Play. Report. Move on. Nothing else.

Today when I logged in I got a message that someone I reported had been banned (someone who flamed us and started running down mid because our jg failed a gank) and I must say it feels really good. I guess the report system actually works sometimes then :)

Recently reported some people both on my team and the enemy team after a match due to just how toxic and verbally abusive they were being to each other and team mates.

Got an IFS report that one of them had been punished. No clue which one, it may have been all of them. But it does work and you will eventually get a report at some point.
