I'm in low-priority queue because I decided to move in with my Grandmother and take care of her.

That's about it. If she randomly decides to call me while I'm in the middle of a game, I have to drop the game and go help her. It's not something I can prepare for, hence the random. Which means out of 20 games I'll have to AFK in maybe 2 of them. Shit outta luck because the system doesn't give a damn. [sg-miss-fortune] It sucks, but that's life.

Edito: A thought came to mind. Why does Leaver Buster exist when you can report someone for AFK?

Hey man, I did hospice with my brother when he was dying.

I'm going to give the honest answer here. You gotta stop playing league. And probably any MMORPG. Anything where you can't drop out at a moment's notice.

You aren't being respectful to other players. You have a commitment to your Grandma. If you can't set aside time to play, don't play.

Okay? Regardless of the reasoning, you're still ruining the game for other players. Yeah, taking care of your grandma is more important than a video game, but I don't see why you should be exempt from leaverbuster.

You could shift your League playtime to times when your grandmother is asleep, minimizing the chance that you'd be pulled away unless it were an emergency.

What do you want it to do? Require proof of your situation? You're doing a good thing for your grandma that has nothing to do with League of Legends, RIot games, or the 9 other plays who are getting screwed in game.

Priorities, man. If you get interrupted too often, you either need to accept the consequences or not play. Riot isn't fucking you because of your situation.

League as a game takes time. If you don't have time for a full game, you shouldn't play a game. I don't understand why people play a game of league knowing they have work in an hour. I understand your situation is random, but that doesn't excuse leaving halfway through a game.

Emergencies happen and should take precedence over video games. However, a situation where you are on call is not the time to play multiplayer games where people are relying on your presence.

I generally can't predict interruptions at home. Solution? I don't play at home. I go to a cybercafe where, as long as I don't get called about an emergency, I can be reasonably sure I can finish the games I start.

If you really want to play League, you basically have 3 options:

  1. Use the practice tool to refine mechanics such as last hitting, combos, and jungle routes. (Can leave whenever you need)
  2. Find some friends who understand your situation and play customs. (LeaverBuster only checks if reported)
  3. Keep playing and accept the consequences for leaving.

Family takes precedence over a game no matter what. It sucks that you got a leaverbuster, but shit happens.

I'm wondering why the 20minute wait time is never brought back to 5minutes no matter the time gap from your previous afk.

If i haven't afked in 7+ months i sure as hell shouldn't suffer a 20 minute

So...you want your cake and eat it too? Selfish much?

We impressed you willing to take care of your family (some people won't). But that's no excuse to do whatever you want (leave games when needed for emergencies). There are plenty of chances already built into LeaveBuster. How about make the real sacrifice and DON'T play the game when your family needs you???

LeaveBuster exists because afk is outside of the functionalities of the IFS. It is simply another system created specifically to deal with afk. Having it automatically detect afk is just a logical step.

If you got low priority que, you must've left multiple games because you don't get that for leaving few games
