what more do i need to add? everyone has his own definition of trolling and use of the word in this game....IT WOULD BE ABOUT TIME WE HAVE A CLEAR STATEMENT ABOUT IT FROM RIOT!!!!

the best one i found explained 5 types of trolls and dates back to 2014...by a GENEROUS PLAYER WHO DEDICATED TIME AND EFFORT FOR THE COMMUNITY! feel free to post your toughts about it... BUT PLS WE NEED TO INSIST MORE ON HAVING OFFICIAL ANSWERS/STATEMENTS FROM RIOT INSTEAD OF ALL SAYING WHAT WE THINK AND STILL END UP A BIT WRONG AS WE HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW WHAT ONLY RIOT KNOWS AND APPLIES AS RULES ON ACTIONS WE TAKE!

more to come soon... mains titles will be rules and report(already one post with it)

having the majority of your text in caps actually diminishes the effect of emphasis that you are trying to convey

You said it yourself, there are plenty of definitions. So, in which context do you want to know Riot's definition?

If you want to know what is bannable it's pretty simple: Behaviour with the direct or indirect goal/intent to sabotage your own team's chance to win. That will include some things not covered by some definitions of "trolling" and will not include other things that are covered by some definitions of trolling.

That's why personally I try to avoid the term "trolling" whenever I can. It has simply been so heavily changed that by now it is pretty ambiguous. It's also why I'm not sure whether your question is really relevant to anything. It seems to me like it's pretty much just semantics.

Have you been punished for trolling and you want to appeal it? If so, we would only be able to give opinions after you have provided us with the info on the punishment.

I don't get what the point would be to have a definition since we all know what trolling is. If you intentionally make the game worse for your team, you are trolling. If your intent is not to do the best you can to win, you are trolling.

Trolling is NOT

  • Banning an ally's hovered pick.
  • Playing any champion in any role.
  • Going 0/10/2
  • Letting your team die because they picked the wrong fight.
  • Not following your teammates stupid calls.
  • Spamming ? pings or any Emote.
  • BMing

"Trolling" is a subjective term that cannot be measured.

The behaviors that will result in punishments are already spelled out by Riot in the post-game report feature.

They are all outlined here. By Riot. As you asked for in your caps-ridden post.

How about tribunal for game play offenses?

Riot already has to manually review, it's just adding more eyes to the system.
