So... what gives?

Played several games today sine it is a Sunday, and why not right? But any single time I try to communicate something to my teammates, like "hey, do not take wolves. Since we just killed 3 of them, let's take dragon instead", I got called a fck head, sht head, was told to get cancer, etc. See, this behavior disappears after gold, but is the reason for this the fact that everyone in lower elo is tilted? I'm just trying to figure out how to avoid losing an easily winnable game to toxicity, since that's the main reason I lose my games. Any ideas?
