A Jerk just scammed me

So I had this guy on my friends list which I've played with a couple of times. Apparently I can't post the guy's summoner name so he's just gonna get away with it. He asked to exchange mystery skins, so I said sure why not? As you can guess, he said he didn't wanna go first because he's been scammed before. And he took the skin and blocked me removed me as a friend. At least the jerk had the decency to say thanks. Riot should add a feature of mystery skins where you can choose if you both want to send each other a skin. That way, one person is not left hanging like this.

It's not a scam if it is a gift. That's just a dick friend

I mean, that's not really him even scamming you, that's more you being gullible man. Never 'exchange' gifts unless you've known the person a while.

What's that thing that's pinned to the top of the boards, that's been there for 27 days?

Oh yeah, Beware of scams this Snowdown!

Your fault for going through with it, never trade with someone you don't know unless you're OK with it being a one-way exchange.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Okay, the guy's a jerk. Now you know this. It cost you, but you know better now. Feel free to report them if you want to. Just don't let it happen to your again.

I've run into someone like that. It wasn't the lack of return that bothered me (I agreed because I was curious about his response). It was that, after I sent a mystery skin, he said he wanted a champion (My response was that he should have specified that's what he wanted upfront), tried to get me to send a second gift and, when I refused, started asking how much RP I had (I told him that was private and not something I share). Yeah, I was staring at the screen in disbelief over his brazenness (he finally assumed I had no more RP and left).

If you make a verbal agreement to trade skins with someone and they dont come threw with their side it is a scam not a gift. This shouldn't be an easy way for someone to be able to get all the skins they ever wanted by finding kind hearted people. THIS SHOULD BE A PERMA BAN. THere is no excuse for tricking someone into gifting you. Lowest of the low

Ive given quite a few skins topeople never expecting one in return.most were to friends i had been playing with for months. I actually gave one so many that they said to stop giving them skins i thought it was funny. Anyways its a gift. If youre gonna exchange well its on you if they dont follow through since you have no way to enforce the deal and riot has no right to take money from players i believe unless they sue em for something idk im not a rioter and like most never read the terms and conditions. Still mystery skins cost what 5 dollar hardly worth getting worked up about.
