Now, i have a question i have gotten quite a few punishments in the past, and my next one is a perma im pretty sure, i had a buddy tell me that if you have a perma as your next ban, that you can be reported by a couple players in a match and youll get banned regardless of if the reports were legit or not.

now, my question is, if i just dont say anything toxic in the chats, and i still get reported by people all the time (because lets be honest, players do report for anything even unskilled regardless of if its a report option anymore) will i face a punishement even if its unjustified. because i have alot of money invested into my account and im doing my best to not lose it, but i know im going to get reported for just about anything under the sun for the rest of the length of the time i play this game, because thats just how this community is

so please if you could awnser this honestly that would be fantastic thanks

You won't be banned for chat if you don't type anything. What you need to understand is that anything you say that could be viewed as "toxic", even the littlest things, can lead to a permaban. You have to be very careful with what you type after a two week ban.

You can only be banned for what you say in game. Try using /mute all or playing some less intense modes, like rotating game mode or aram. I've said previously on the boards that you can unbind the chat key from enter/return, but I don't think that's possible.

im under the impression that reports aren't considered false until they've been reviewed manually, so what happens, is people get their accounts padded with false reports, and then they get a real report for something minor, and had it not been for the false reports, it would have been cast aside as a bad game. but they get punished because of the sheer volume of reports on their account

Tbh I got off a 14 day ban on some other account and I still use chat a shit load to tell ppl what they did wrong and still no ban, I don't think they do it for just anything

what alot of people don't understand is that mild harassment (such as calling for reports) is still punishable. So they think that they were not toxic, but infact it is a punishable offense.
