I Got Chat Banned and would like to repeal.

I recently was playing a game in which I was playing Garren top lane. I was against a Mundo and was trading evenly. When we were level 2 the Master Yi decided to gank the top lane and my nocturne was pining it. I was then under the impression that Nocturne wanted to fight the 2v2. This was however incorrect, I went in on the master yi that was coming up the river, and then nocturne started running away. After massive amounts of pinging I flashed towards him, and he helped with the fight. Our mid laner came and it ended up being a 2 for 1 trade. We only got the one kill. My team did not like how I played the game so they decided to flame me as 4. They all claimed to have muted me after 5 minutes so that I could no longer communicate with them. This was extremely frustrating as I could no longer talk to my team and communicate about the help that I needed. I will paste the chat ban below, and let you decide for yourselves. I will put some notes in (parentheses) next to some of the chats so that the context is understood.

As I was running I saw the master yi taking rift. I was able to steal the rift but got no help from my mid laner or jgler to escape. My teamates then went and grabbed the rift and let me die. Not a single teamate pinged or verbally said good job to me for steal the rift. Further making me feel as if I was not even apart of the team.) First, don't post multiple copies of the same thread.

Second, this is not where you go to appeal a punishment. All we can do here is help you understand why you were punished and how to avoid behavior that will get you punished in the future.

flaming, toxicity, harassment...and that is all on your end

I doubt you will get a repeal

learn from this

if you are having issues with what someone is saying in chat, do not respond back with toxicity

mute them and move on

Well the only thing you said that was punishable was "screw you", the system probably picked that up. Still typing that much probably costed you the game that you could win in some way. If you write a full page of text in one game it means you are not focusing.

Also just do mute all at start of the game, that will still allow pings to show so if they spam "?" ping on you, you mute that too if not you communicate with your pings. If you have good players they'll know what to do and listen to good pings.

Doesnt deserve any punishment. Saying "screw you" isnt punishable at all This guy was getting flamed all game Just remember next time to mute toxic players as they have nothing useful to say

You know, .. as odd as this probably seems, .. continuing to shout "YOU'RE FLAMING ME" .. can be construed as flaming.

A good decision would have been to mute them.

I get it, it's hard to just ignore people when they are placing the blame on you when you feel you don't rightly deserve it. And to be clear, I'm not saying that you did deserve to be flamed, you didn't. ... but by responding, you are only "feeding the flame," .. and now you have yourself a chat restriction.

That is the lesson here. ... Don't feed the flame.

Although I don’t doubt they were flaming you you just chat way too much. If people are giving you a hard time and it’s going to distract just mute them.

Splitting your focus to argue with teammates is stupid af. Stop doing that. Just mute next time. Dont threaten reports. Dont call people toxic. Dont say screw you to anyone. Its all bullshit. Just play the game and report people who piss you off. Let Riot handle it. Its all you can do. At least it was only a chat ban, and you can learn from this with the lightest of punishments. (Of course, outside of the rules of the game, you did nothing wrong. But we have to base this all on the rules, which you did indeed break)

Holy shit are you guys serious? you consider anything in this chat log toxic? he repeatedly, respectfully asked them to stop. He did literally nothing w4rong but stand up for himself. Compared to him my chat logs are Hitler incarnate, the fuck is wrong with this community.... And I have never told someone to kill themselves, been racist or similar, ever.
