If I report someone I do NOT want to be put in another game with them.... EVER.

The title says it all. I had the most toxic support, in a ranked game, that held the team hostage by saying if we didn't give him farm he was going to feed. When the adc farmed a big minion wave he decided to stroll down midlane and let the other team kill him. I reported him along with several other members in the game. The very next game he is on my team again. He proceeded to verbally abuse the whole team and after he died he said he was going to afk or feed. He proceeded to sell all of his items for 5 tears.

I don't care if I have to wait 15 mins in queue because all the people I have reported are trying to join games. DO NOT put someone in a game with some one they reported. They reported the person for a reason, part of that is they don't ever want to see their face again.

Hey El Don Juan,

We can all relate to the frustration that comes with being matched twice in a row with a rager. While it may be possible to restrict players from playing with another they have reported, we're wary to do this because of how it could affect matchmaking. In addition, we know that sometimes players may have a brief instance of toxicity where they deserve to be reported, but who quickly resume normal play style without incident; in these situations it doesn't always make sense to permanently black list them.

Instead, the PB team here has been looking at ways to improve the speed at which our disciplinary systems respond to player reports. Ideally, the current system will act very quickly after a report has been sent. For example, in your case I went ahead and did some digging and noticed that the player has been exited from the game for their transgressions.

With that said, the system is still relatively new, and there is a lot of tuning going on to increase the systems effectiveness. Although it can be disheartning at times, you're doing the right thing by leaving a report on that player (as you did in this instance). All reports are collected and sent to our system to better calibrate it for the future.

This is a common request and I get where you're coming from, but the problem is that it would wreck matchmaking.

Never, EVER going to happen. Especially because this would make everyone report any person any time they had a bad game to try to stack their own team, even though that would be idiotic as all players have bad games, but people would still do it.

I don't understand the mentality that says I should have to take a break because someone else was raging.

This reporting system just blows me away how horrible it is, to this day. Not only are you matched with the same people you report for having bad behavior, but it takes a head-turning amount of reports and incidents of threats, trolling, rude, and otherwise bad behavior for someone to simply get a slap on the wrist. Does no one at Riot believe in social justice? I would love to permanently ban well over hundreds of people at this point for the things they have said in one game alone. PERMANENT bans need to take place if they have been reported enough and CONFIRMED to have threatened or took the time to type out insult after insult after insult. It's not just nerd rage that gets these guys going, it's just that they're bad people, or constantly make bad decisions, and letting them talk to the community and take part of it is out of question. Either let people BLACKLIST, or come on the forums/submit a report ticket WITH THE SUMMONER'S NAME and log and hell even VIDEO of what happened, otherwise these people keep getting off scot-free.

I had to support an APC Annie in a ranked game once. We lost, they blamed me. Whatever. I went to get a snack and a drink and requeued five minutes later. Got the same APC Annie and had to support. I got blamed once again.

There was also a week where I met the same Tryndamere player multiple times, on my team and on the enemy team. His username was ridiculous which is why I remembered him.

So yes folks, it IS possible to get the same person despite waiting a little bit to queue.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can put them in your block list. This would make them not able to message you, queue with you, etc. Unless this is Completely omitted when it comes to rank matchmaking
