over the past couple of days i literally had about 10 trolls/Rage quitters .... everytime i report them i see no feedback to show they have been pusnished
but i only see them when someone types toxic things into chat ....
Side note:
Trolling and leaving is different to typing so chat bans etc wont be effective so personally i think being locked out of playing SR normals/ranked for a a few hours is better
Yes they will be punished when it's accurate but it's harder to tell in some cases
Also, the feedback popup isn't always given from each successful report.
If someone leaves enough games, Leaverbuster willl definitely hand out punishments.
As far as "trolls," everyone who makes a post has their own definition, and more often than not, the action they consider trolling is not against the rules. So what did your troll do?
You don't get any punishment notifications for successful leaver buster punishments.
People can get 14-day banned for purposefully not contributing in the form of clicking around. That you may get a punishment notification, depending on whether the punishment is dealt out within a recent time frame.
Players rarely get punished for griefing. Afking is punished by leaver buster unless the person soft afked
the reason chat related offenses are more common is bc it's infinitely easier to detect and confirm
gameplay offenses need to be reviewed so that innocent players are not punished simply for being bad at the game, this process takes time due to the large amounts of dbags but it has to be that way to protect innocent players being reported just for being bad at the game or having an off day
is it perfect? no, but until someone comes up with a better system, it's what we got
I know a player who, instead of typing just alt + f4 in a bad game and after thousands of games, he hasn't gotten a single notification. He has 30 mins bans permanently tho.
THE ONLY PUNISHMENT FOR LEAVING GAMES IS 20MIN QUEUES. but please dont call them the 'r' word or we'll ban you!
