Chat Safety

You should implement a toggle-option that prevents players from typing chat messages entirely. This can act as a safety for players who, like myself, get emotional while playing a game that releases adrenaline, a neurotransmitter known to impair judgement, and use double plus ungood words in the heat of the moment. I've been banned for using profanity, I've been chat restricted for typing too much (not rude, not harassment, not profanity, literally just too much typing), and now if I say the wrong word my 8 year old account will be permabanned? Is a safety too much to ask when you are going to 2-strike permaban accounts for saying offensive words?

People who cant communicate are a liability to their team and should not need to be tolerated by other players.

Dont play PvP games if you cant make any effort to control yourself.

Unbind your enter key. Problem solved, after burning summoners accidentally a few times you won’t be tempted to type at all. But go ahead and keep flaming, and come back to the boards angry about a perma... that’ll be nice.

Adrenaline is not a neurotransmitter, and the amount of adrenaline that is released during a game of League doesn't do anything like what you're saying.

I get that you don't want to take responsibility for your actions but please don't blame biology.

The best toggle is you learning self control. Or failing that, make it to where you can't chat yourself. I'm p sure that's possible, I know I've seen people say they managed to unbind the chat key. But regardless Riot isn't gonna implement a toggle like that, because if someone turns it on before game, then wants to flame in game and can't turn it back off, then they may resort to in-game trolling such as inting or other forms of griefing. Just like with perma-mute punishments that have already been tried
