Getting reported for no reason

So I just played my 7th ranked game. Now for our team I was forced to do jungle which is fine because it is my secondary role anyway. I decided to play Jax. Our top laner was Cho'gath our mid was Vel koz and our bot lane was Morgana and Jinx. I started off at my blue worked down to my red and their Camille Jungle caught me off guard and killed me. Eventually I decided to gank top lane because he was against a Tryndamere so I wanted to help. The trynd had ult and killed us both because thats what Tryndamere does. But then the Cho'gath goes crazy and says he doesn't want me to gank him anymore. I asked if he was sure about this and he said yes. Then he started feeding. Fantastic. I decide to gank mid lane and we killed their ahri but unfortunately he died to her ignite. He was fine with it though.

I decided to go bot because their lux and Kalista bot was annoying. I ganked them but Lux rooted me and kalista hopped around until she killed me. Our Jinx goes crazy. She said stuff like "WHY DID YOU GO IN?!" or "YOU SUCK AT GANKING!" this annoyed the crap out of me. She was also being mean to our Morgana who was doing nothing wrong but she just needed someone to yell at I guess. Towards the end of the game everyone except for Vel Koz was being Toxic towards me. Then at the end we surrendered. Yea, we surrendered in a ranked game. Thats how bad it was. At the end everyone was telling the enemy team to report me for "inting" because of their toxicity and their bot lane constantly killing me in my own jungle I went 3 and 8. Our Jinx was 0 and 6 but she still said that I was bad. The enemy team thought I did fine and felt bad for me. I then checked the damage and our Jinx did 2000 damage. I did 5000. Then I realized my score was better than hers, and so was my damage. I told her this and she used the one time I ganked them and died as an excuse. She just kept bringing it up every time she knew what I said was right. Overall this game was trash and so was my team. Also remember the Cho'Gath that said he didn't want ganks. Guess what he said.."Jax didn't gank the whole game report him pls" What do you even do in a situation like this..?

firstly, you get good so that your ganks won't suck anymore. There might be some truth to it when they say your ganking sucks.

For example, in the top lane, you can leap in but save your counter strike. Let cho land his skill shots and knock him up, and when tryd ults, that is when you counter strike to keep him from attacking and escaping.

For bot lane, once you leaped in, do a quick side step and try to dodge lux's Q (or wait until your laner baits out a Q). Once their CC is down has been whiffed, the lane is free kill.

Secondly, providing if you didn't actually intentionally feed, and didn't counter flame them, you'll be fine. The system has the capability to filter out false reports and does not punish people based on number of reports alone.

Infact, multiple reports within a game just does the same thing as 1 report.

So don't worry about getting falsely reported. But if you did anything to validate the report, then it's on you to take responsibility when you do get punished.

  1. You ignore the part about getting reported. Rage-reports carry zero weight, and will never result in any action taken against your account, assuming you weren't also flaming your team. Folks feel the need to blame and report to justify their loss. Let them be immature, it won't matter after the game is done.

  2. You put aside the insults and complaints and see if there is any merit to their comments on your play. Could you have done differently? I virtually never jungle, so I can't offer you specific advice, but there are some elements to your account of the game that suggest a different path may have resulted in a better game. Ganking a Tryndamere fresh off of level 6, for example, is a poor choice. The best-case scenario is probably that he'll just use his ult to get to safety, making it a waste of your time. And the worst-case, since you and your top laner are both melee champs, is that you'll get 1v2'd.

People are assholes a lot of the time in this game, especially when you're perceived to be the weak link of the team. It sucks when it happens, especially when it happens unfairly. Mute them as needed, and focus on your own skills and strategies to improve.
