Hello everyone, If you are in the same situation like mine, being permanently banned because you defended yourself during a game against bullies, you are in the right discussion place. So, I was playing ranked this morning as always during my day off. When I started my 3rd game my team started to bulling me and threaten me to be reported. After the game, I received a message for the first time that I was Permanently Banned. When I submitted a request to RIOT support, the administrator Agent 007 did not carefully checked my log and he just told me that there is nothing to do if you said a bad word, even if it was a reply to the bullies.

So, we are in the United States of America, how could a gaming company violate our fundamental right of speech ?

Moreover, I did apologies for my bad behavior, but Agent 007 did not even considered that, he treated me as the same level as a Bully. He hurt my feelings so bad!!!

How an administrator cannot show sympathy or mercy ??

To be honest, I feel much better replying to those bullies than not doing anything. I don't want Riot makes me a wimp. I will always stand up for my rights. This is what I have learnt in America.

So, the Agent 007 thanks again for making me feel bad, you just made the situation even worst.

Because the first amendment starts by saying:

Congress shall make no law.

Last I checked, Riot wasn’t congress, and congress still hasn’t passed any law on Riot’s gaming issues. You’re in a private area - a private company - and private companies have always and will always have the right to control speech and actions within their bounds (so long as they are not being discriminatory based on protected classes).

He treated you like a “bully” because you are one. It doesn’t matter you’re sorry - you were punished because you violated the rules. If you want to post your logs from the support request, I think you’ll find that the agent was more than nice to you until you refused to listen.

Player: Riot! I want to play your game!

Riot: Sure, but before you do, you have to follow the rules. Meaning you cannot flame, insult, use offensive slurs, or purposely try to ruin people's game. If you get caught, you'll be penalized, and eventually banned from our game. You can't even retaliate, because it's just a negative thing for our game. Now, are you sure you want to play our game? Because if you don't agree to our terms you cannot download our game.

Player: Yep! I agree with your terms!

Riot: Welcome to League of Legends!

Player: (Goes against terms and break the rules by flaming)

Riot: .... (penalizes player)

Player: How dare you punish me! You punished me for my freedom of speech! I have rights to defend myself! This is unfair!

Player: _ THIS. IS. MURICA!!_

Player: (eats a cheeseburger at 10am)

Dude, I'll start off by stating I hate SJW liberal snowflakes to the max extreme. They hate liberty and personal freedoms and free thinking.

That said, this game is managed by them and they hate the 1st, it is private game and forum, so they can restrict any thought they don't like.
