In short i was playing a game and decided to meme a dude by spamming in the chat. Anyways I was chat banned for 10 games, and my honor was reduced from 3 to 1. This is my first offense literally ever and I'm kinda sad about it. Was this too hard of a punishment? I understand league's goal to reduce toxicity, but I have not been toxic enough to have my honor reduced from 3 almost 4 to 1.
That's what you get for entertaining yourself at the expense of others. But this wasn't for one game, your restriction is from getting reported consistently and IFS seeing you starting to have a pattern of going down the wrong path. The restriction isn't really a punishment, but a warning. It's a simple slap on the wrist before the fourth slap. That fourth slap will wipe out the existence of your account. That fourth slap, that's the punishment.
This is why honor level should only be reduced by 1 from your current honor level when receiving a chat restriction.
