Banned for being trolled

Got a chat ban today for 10 days and my honor lowered because 2 players in the game were trolling our team. The 2 in question were my bot lane support who took Miss Fortune, and a jungle Talon. I was 0/3 early to mid game because I was getting no jungle or bot lane support from MF. They both blamed me non stop for "feeding" with only 3 deaths where other players on the team had more, and called me trash and made other rude comments about me. MF started taking my farm putting me further and further behind and still typing messages about how bad i am and once again used the word trash. The team tried FF several times but the talon and MF kept voting no, and continued to not gank, and steal farm. I made a comment that they were being bad teammates for blaming everyone else for throwing but continuously did nothing to help the team. I made comments defending myself with 1 of them being are you mental or delusional (about if they both think this is how the game is played and teamwork works). I don't feel like this is ban worthy, nor is it excessive or attacking them personally IMO, but I honestly want to know everyone's opinion. Here is my side of the chat and why i was banned. Almost the entirety of this chat log is you harassing them for them doing nothing that’s against the rules. There is no rule that you “own” the farm as the bot lane, and your inability to share with your team does not mean you get to flame and complain about you being useless.

You failed to win your lane because you didn’t get to play exactly the way you wanted to - then you took it out on everyone else and complained about it. This is certainly worth a chat restriction.

Bro I've never written "are you mental" or refused to help my team, I've been permanetely banned for a lot less (you can find my post in the forum threads). I've been banned because I told my teammate that I was going to report them for flaming and to "Shut up (because they were flaming) and learn to play" (those are the two things that I've done wrong, It seems) so If I got banned for that, guess this :/

Yeah i literally just got banned a few min ago, and in reading my chat logs i'm even more frustrated.

Basically You get trolled, you tell the troll to stop (or in my case i told the troll to go AFK cause we were winning without him) but then you get punished for this....

I've also had chat restrictions because i told my team to stop F*cking arguing and just play (because they were being super toxic in chat) apparently

I love this game, hate the community, but hate the company even more, cause everything they do to try and stop certain behavior makes it even worse.

i believe you were negative and should scale it back but i dont believe that this is banworthy, i see a lot of these posts askign this questions and 99% of the time i agree with the ban, this is not one of those times, bad call by rito from me

Hey everyone, thanks for commenting on my post. I do appreciate the time you guys gave to leave a comment and help me to better understand this. I know that no one "owns the farm", but it does not help the lane, team, or game when players just blatantly tell you they are screwing you over and there is nothing you can do about it. I honestly wish I could post their chat messages from the game. I know its no excuse, but it is the clearly the cause of my mildly unsportsmanlike behavior that lead to the comments said in game. It was not just a player having a bad game, it was someone sabotaging the match for their enjoyment. It just feels bad in the end that I was punished instantly without warning. Muting is barely even a band aid for a troll like this, non participation since you cant fight or farm is report/ban worthy, and our other lanes were suffering form these players actions so they could not help at all ether. What I said is considered toxic from the majority of commentators here and I can see this. Let me say that I feel it is the smallest form of toxicity that I see in this game on a daily basis and was completely surprised it was a ban as soon as the match was over.

sometimes you just get that one person that feels like ruining your life is all they want to do... and there is nothing you can do to escape it in an online game but leave... sadly this is league of legends where leaving the game full of people trying to ruin your time will get you banned faster then them... feels bad man

Riot bans the one that can easily ban..... If you ask me when you flame a feeder both should get banned 100% of the times...
