Starting a game knowing you will lag

Really should be a reportable offence.

If I know my wifi is bad, I will not play the game. It ruins the game for at most 4 other people. Others should do the same. There is also an easy way to know if you will lag. One is through a ping test via internet. Next is through the command prompt via windows. Another is via making a custom game with bots (passworded so nobody joins) and seeing your ping through there. You can see your ping via your settings.

If you are in a public area, you have no excuse for checking your ping. Period.

Can anyone suggest why, if someone directly complains about their network and continues their gaming, that it shouldn't be an offence?

...because people with bad and/or occasionally sporadic internet may still wish to play League, and there's nothing saying you have to have good internet in order to do so? Also because what counts as "lag" varies from person to person -- I'm used to shoddy internet, and can play pretty well at 350ms. Some friends with better connections get thrown off their game with their ping is as low as 120ms.

But what if I've been having good connection all day? No lag in games, no dc'ing, normal ping... and suddenly, for some reason, I start lagging in the middle of a game? Is it really my fault that my internet is suddenly having trouble? No, it's not, because I didn't know that was going to happen.
