Why am I getting trolled by my own team in 80% of my games?

Is bronze like this for everyone? I know that Silver isnt.. I have literally watched my team feed like completely noob idiots all game, and then turn into Gold smurfs and totally rickroll the enemy team because of something I said. I wish I had recorded the game so I could show you.. they were obviously intentionally losing for almost 20 minutes. I mean.. wtf is that? Is there some secret unwritten rule that everyone in league low-key trolls to lose unless "given a reason" to win?

Even challenger players do this constantly. Welcome to results of children being raised by the internet my friend.

its confirmation and hindsight bias. and a few other psychological things. bronze is easy to climb out of if you improve as a player as all the players that are legitimately bronze are very bad.

that said, as someone who has smurfed in bronze you do occasionally run into boosters/other smurfs, etc. and its very obvious when that's the case. 80% has to be an exaggeration as I ran into a smurf/booster maybe once every 10 games at MOST if it was a time of the year when they boost. (end of season)

The reality is probably that your team sucks including you, and they all just do nothing for 20 minutes, then group mid like everyone does in low elo (hell you still see this even in plat) and win team fights.

really if you can team fight you can get out of bronze assuming you are smart and take objectives after winning them rather than chasing kills or randomly recalling.

Because of something you said? Try not saying anything.

Maybe they're scaling with scaling runes/masteries? Maybe they're hitting their good time of the game at the time you're seeing them dominate?

There are many reasons that people may be doing poorly for the beginning of a game and then suddenly start doing well. The least likely reason is intentionally performing differently.
