I lost a game in my promotion to Gold III, because 'I left a game' (Read the body)

Hello everyone,

Right now I am very curious to know why I got a lost game shoved into my promotions.

I was given time to select the champion, I selected garen at the end of the timer, and then it gave me a pop up, which said something like : 'you have failed to select, try again ish' is what I remember. When that happened I somehow left the game, I thought oh someone else failed.. After that I tried getting into a new game and it said, please wait for the timer that is shown, or something like that.

When that happened I thought hmm lets check my ranked into profile on the client itself, and it said I had lost a game. So I am very very curious, why I got a lost game shoved into my promotion towards gold 3.

Because I selected a champ, and somehow it told me I didn't and I lost the game, which totally wasn't my fault.

League of legends, or Riot team

Please check this out and I'd really prefer the game if this doesn't happen, and DEFINITELY doesn't somehow lose me a game.

Please help me out with this.

this has been a bug ever since the new client came out... its not going away. they won't or can't fix it (it isn't a skin bug so they don't seem to care). nor will they make it right. they'll just say 'oh it is rare. sucks that it happened. good luck'

Don't lock in at 0, then.

You know it's possible for it to have an error, or for there to be lag, so don't wait until the absolute last possible second, because it's stupid to do so. Lock in at 10 at the latest, to give wiggle room just in case it has an error the first time.
