beyond a report?

i've seen many toxic people in my gaming experience and most of the time its easy to mute or ignore them. not usually towards me but other players on the team. anyways, one individual was making death threats and more to one of my teammates. I know the report button falls into some bot algorithm that will probably flag it and dismiss the report givin enough time. is there a way to report beyond just a red exclamation mark?

honestly this guy was making me sick with threats to our mid laner. threats of swatting, killing, and finding them "IRL." I copied and pasted the chats into the report, but I'm pretty sure nothing will happen to them. especially since they were clearly a smirf account with nothing to loose.

I don't expect anything to come of this thread, cause abusing the "beyond" function of a report button would obviously cause more stress on riot and make it harder to distinguish legitimacy of behaviors.

Put in a support ticket is this "beyond" in-game report you're looking for. Death threat generally qualified under escalated punishment. As far as smurf account goes, not much can be done about that unless you want to go wayyy "beyond" and report him to the actual irl authority.

Put in a support ticket so that an actual human being will review it. From the top left dropdown of this screen, select "SUPPORT" and put in a manual ticket explaining what happened.

The bot algorithm tends to catch key words like death threats pretty quickly and punishes people pretty quick too. However, like was said, a Support Ticket can help ensure that something is done about them. I would suggest posting a link to the game that the person was in (via profile, match history, clicking game, then viewing on web). This will make it quick and easy for the people to find the game and catch them.

Banning people who type extreme stuff like that is one of the few things the system is actually good at.

Why do I keep seeing people acting like it's not enough or it doesn't work?

You do realize that these players are either trolls or mad kids? You give them a way too much attention. Just report and move on.
