First suspension ever, but I'm still irked about how the punishments are dealt out...

Kaysherr: its 20 minutes in Kaysherr: if you have more than 5 deaths, please dont queue up again Kaysherr: go play cod Kaysherr: this aint the game for you Kaysherr: im afking Kaysherr: i aint gonna carry ur asses Kaysherr: end Kaysherr: you have 10 deaths Kaysherr: stop talking Kaysherr: it was a 4v5 Kaysherr: was that because you had a bad early game that u just inted? Before you ask, yes I obviously knew I had at least a chat incoming as I was trolling an already toxic team (our adc tristana was flaming our support and running down bot so i tilted), but had no idea that would lead to a 2 week ban. I can obviously understand and deal with that, but I have one question for something that irked me.....how on earth did i get banned WITHIN 2 MINUTES of that game ending? Are bans not even monitored? Is it just a situation where if enough people report you and you don't have a good account standing that you're automatically dealt a punishment? Genuinely curious about how that works.

All reports go through the Instant Feedback System (in other words, an automated review) and a punishment would be issued within minutes. If you've had chat restrictions before this, it would explain why you were issued a suspension instead of another chat restriction, because they escalate to a temp then permaban if your behavior doesn't improve sufficiently over a significant period of time.

Back in days long past, we had something called the Tribunal. It was not effective at dealing out punishments.

For punishments of any kind in any scenario to be effective, not just in League, they have to be delivered while the bad behavior is still in mind. I am NOT calling you or any player a dog or an animal - but you can't yell at a pet for shitting on the floor 6 hours after it happened. They won't get it.

The IFS recognized your seriously toxic chat, which is probably part of a larger pattern of this happening recently, and issued a punishment. You felt it, it's not supposed to feel good, and once your suspension is up, realize that the next step will be losing your account if you get punished again.

Let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter. of course, clean games reduce the meter.

So it has nothing to do with getting group reported.

your past Behavior also plays a factor, if you've gotten chat restrictions before then the system would see you as a consistent real fender escalate your punishment.

Just to let you know your next punishment will be a Perma ban.

From what I know reports go through the Instant Feedback System and your punishment can range from chat restrictions up to bans. (Bans generally come when you've received a chat restriction) good thing is you can reform your tier punishment. I was 2 week banned, next step was perm. Changed it around, played a lot of games with a different attitude, now I'm back on the chat tier punishments. GL with your tier reforming

I hate quitters.

Quitters are the most toxic people in league. Why would you want to ff early? so u can loose and ff early your next match sooner? Stand up.. Fight for your win... #ComebacksFTW
