Is ranked always like this

Today / yesterday I did the 10 provisional matches to "place" me to begin the "climb."

All but maybe two. MAYBE two of them I had one or two insanely toxic or deranged people. Or a support who just.. didn't support. How much can one person take? Every little mistake put on me. I did well in over half of those games. I was arguably one of the best in over half as far as overall effort and damage goes. Still lost.

I don't understand why so many of these disgusting people keep getting to play?? It's completely ruining my experience. I don't mind losing a good fight or a fun match. Losing with one or two spam pingers or "hahha you're 4-0 right now" is not okay. Thought it would be better than draft but it's WORSE.

I would rather play with bots who didn't harass and actually communicated with fake messages than all of these kids. What is happening...

Oh look, a third game in a row where I do well as ADC. Stuck with a Sion support (???) who pings and pings, trash talks our jungler almost the entire game, and is the person who performs the worst.

Riot does almost nothing against game play offenses. The little they do takes them a long time to take action.

Saying anything negative in chat though, that is an express ticket to smurf land.

I've been playing this for 10 years. It's really all about self-control. Not all ranked games go as planned or are as fun as the others. I just mute them and play. I really don't encourage players to type negative to me nor do I tolerate it. I mute them because they have nothing constructive to provide, including their pings. I do tend to unmute their pings later on after they blow off steam. But never their chat. Then I move onto reporting them.

I'd just suggest muting them. No reason to tolerate them.

Yes it is always like that. I stopped playing ranked all together. Ranked in this game is just bad.

There's probably a bunch of people that realised they can't get rewards, so they just doing whatever they please.

Needless to say, those accounts don't stay for long.

Ignore those white knights who are trying to defend papa Riot.

Ranked has ALWAYS been a toxic cesspool of players who are prime candidates to be purged from life. The only difference is that the last 3 years the scale of toxicity has only multiplied.

Riot does not give a rats arse on trying to quell the toxicity, they only care about China and the mass amount of money they get from skins and the % cut they get from Chinese players ordering KFC through their client. Don't believe me? look it up.

Final dash is happening. Really low quality games now, bad time to climb seriously. Better wait for a month or 2 after new season to climb seriously. Game qualities are slightly higher than now.
