What's the use of raging in League?

So what is league of legends? What do you think shapes League as a game platform for multiple people to play. What makes this game good? The community, the gameplay, the competition? Well, I'm not sure because a lot of these aspects have been tackled by Riot Games, and they did a hell lot of a good job. But is League really all about the play?

Well, most people would agree that League is a game of fun. It lets your stress slowly fade as every little skillshot, every cs, every kill eases you out. It is a game where we can relax, and have fun. Sure, there may be some competitive players out there, but comparing their amount to the whole community, it's quite a big ratio.

But that is not what the community always focuses on League.

I recently had a game in which I purposely played Aurelion Sol support (Blind pick), building mid lane tactics. And one of my team flamed at me, which is the ADC. She blabbered all the negativity onto me, at how bad i am and how I'm not supporting. I told her that I play League for the fun, and her response keeps on going.

Someone told me once in game, "Developing your skills is fun, why aren't you doing it?" Well, what if I'm bad at the game, and it's just my time to relax, while your teammates shout at you, flaming you, doesnt it just make the game even less fun?

So what is the point of raging on a game of League, nothing really. The person rages to another to basically tell them to do this and to do that because they think we're not doing it correctly.

Quote, "think."

I could just be a troll and still have fun, and people would complain, but what is there to complain? League aims for people to have fun in their games, and wanting to come back for more, and I agree with that aspect. Some people try to seriously and keeps on flaming others like its an entirely focused, serious game, sure there are. So what can you do to clear this conflict up?

Well, nothing really.

But you can simply avoid it and still have fun, unless the person doesn't really shut their mouth and started on cursing you, that's when the magical Tribunal can help you.

But League has developed in so many ways, and so is their community. I wouldn't say that the League community is toxic. I feel like the community just has so many conflicts between people who have fun and who are serious. All of us a different.

So what's my point here? Well, like what the title says, there is no use of raging. Ask the person who is flaming you, "Is there anything you can report me of?" Well, if you're right and you are just playing for fun and not cussing or harrassing... and if they say no, then you can say, "Okay, this is the only game in which we meet, so I'm going to not see you again. Bare this for 5 - 15 minutes and you'll be out of hell." Because that is literally the only game you'll meet them

This ADC of mine though, she claims that she seen me three times, and that she takes down notes on what lane I went, which i think is a very childish thing to say.

I didn't report them, I just left and started writing this thread. I want the League Community to be better, not to be the best, but to improve somehow, can you help us Rioters?

The thing is though, you can force your ideals on other people. What you may consider "fun" isn't fun for everyone, it could be enraging. Just because you view the world a certain way doesn't mean everyone is now forced to view it the way you view it.

Some people take ranked extremely seriously. Some people not at all. It's not up to you to decide which is better or not.

Some people take no joy out of a lost game, some people take immense joy out of winning and no joy out of losing.

Once again, it's not in your ideal to say they are wrong/right.

On the point of "what's the use of raging"

Idk, why do people yell? Why do people fight? Why do people raise their voice?

The answer is obvious. It's a release of tension/emotion from the player. It actually serves as a stress reliever. The issue is some people rage out loud, some people type it out.

Yes Riot can help, and don't sugar coat it. Legend isn't rated top 3 most toxic online games by chance. It's toxic everyone and their dog knows that. Most of us have people we know who avoid the game like the plague simply based off that reason.

Riot can help by being fixing their system to look at both sides of coins. That's how normal society works. Idk why Riot thought it would be better to make this ridiculous law where 1 sided stories are presented. It really doesn't make much sense.

That doesn't mean one shouldn't be held accountable for their actions. It just means when 1 person is being banned, the system should check up that game to see if there was a "causation" of that ban, and subsequently ban out the other player.

I would say very very rarely have I ran into people in League who are just objectively toxic. Most of them become toxic from a toxic domino during the game.

Yet the system says "well you've been part of a toxic domino 3 games in a row now so now you get banned, everyone else part of the domino is safe untill they get 3 toxic teams in a row"

The internet my friend give everyone an alternate personality for them be who they truly want to be and say whatever they want regardless of opinions and feelings. Almost everyone lives an alternate online life style in comparison to their real life attitude and ways... If they rage, perhaps they're truly angry, and since you can't haul off and punch someone in the face for calling you a ninny headed pooter muffin online they can go right ahead and be what they want.

The wide and rapid spread of high speed internet has truly, my opinion, destroyed what little world social structure we had.

The internet used to be such a nice place.
