I have a question that kind of decides how a large majority of players get banned or not.

Out of curiosity does Riot ban you if you're toxic in a short period of games, or do they ban you if you're toxic in a short period of time.

The problem I have with time is that multiple smurfs get away with getting banned if they're toxic because they take breaks from their smurf and main and can be toxic while they're on the smurf, wait for cooldowns and such to go away since they're toxic and get warnings, and then go back to playing the smurf again and being toxic. You could literally be toxic every game if their is a timer cooldown on toxicity and it's not based on frequent games somebody is toxic.

Therefore, if it's not already it should be based on concentration of games toxic. (i.e. if a person plays one game a month and is toxic every time they play they should be banned.)

So does anybody know what the current system is, time or games?

As far as I'm aware, it does take both into account; however, there's more of an emphasis on the number of games. If you're toxic before you take a hiatus to play another game, for instance, and then return to League of Legends and continue your toxicity, it's likely the system will decide to act a lot faster than if you simply have a bad day every now and then (although, you should still try to manage your negativity and toxicity when possible).
