Why do League players act like they've never fed before?

We all do bad and we all do good in some games, yet you (not you, but possibly you) flame the hell out of people when they feed like you never did?

because most of us don't

at least not the way you think

there is a line between having a bad game and purposefully throwing yourself at enemies and towers to die

People take LP way too seriously. I was on a 7 win streak,a nd today I had an absolute troll group in bronze/silver elo. I'm jungle yi.. my zed decides after my first clear wolves and raptors belong to him... ok... my double adc botlane decides krugs and bot buff belong to them.. ok... then they're shocked Nocturne and rengar can 1 hit me with their ults and that I'm 3 levels behind... bleh

What's happening here is a simple case of fundamental attribution error : if they play poorly themselves, they will say that the enemy champ is broken or that their team isn't helping. But if they see someone else play poorly and die several times as a result, they'll call it feeding.

That's why they flame. Because when they go 0/4 themselves, they don't see it as feeding, but when someone else goes 0/4, they see it as feeding. It's just a classic case of people lying to themselves.
