Add an option to mute yourself outside of the game
Wouldn'tt this stop alot of self conscious flamers that sometimes let loose in heated games? Wouldn't is be easy to add?

So basically just add loopholes for toxic players?
It was already tested a while ago that some toxic players got ''permamuted'', they simply channeled their negative behavior into other actions such as intentional feeding.
Riot will not handicap a players teammates by removing communication just because that player can't control themselves and refuses to play by the rules.

yea it would, id use it, currently the only way to do this is a third party program that I dont want to risk using.

its a great idea ive wanted this for so long, in addition to a perma full mute, dota has it and its doing fine.
