I posted a topic a little while ago that got removed. It was calling out a scammer/Cat-fisher by their in game name. Riot removed it though which leads me to believe they dont give a fuck if people are getting scammed out of money/passwords. There is no report option for scamming or cat-fishing, but I DEMAND ACTION BE TAKEN AGAINST THIS PERSON! WHY WOULD YOU LET THIS SCAMMER GET AWAY JUST TO TRY TO SCAM AGAIN!? WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE, RIOT!?! STOP DEFENDING THE GUILTY!

If you want to report this to Riot, the proper way to do so is to send in a support ticket with all the information you have.

Also, the reason why calling out other players is against the rules is not to protect the guilty, but rather to protect the innocent from false accusations. I'm not saying that you are lying, but there's no way for anyone here on the boards to know for sure if you're telling the truth. Evidence, like stories, images, or videos, can easily be edited to make it look like someone did something that is punishable when in reality that person is innocent. Only Riot would be able to know for sure, and they prefer you to report players like this via a ticket.

Edit: If you are unsure of which option to choose, I'd suggest just choosing the general "I have a question about League of Legends/Riot Games." It will reach the necessary department eventually.

What you CAN do is explain how this person scammed you so other people are aware of how people are getting scammed, you just can't call the person out.

Calling out names is considered naming&shaming and not acceptable, reason being while your case may be true, there's no way to tell if everyone else is telling the truth and trolls can easily frame innocent victims by making up stories against specified individuals.
