I'm the first to admit i can occasionally get a little salty. But a chat restriction for this?

This is actually ridiculous. Sure, everyone gets a little salty, especially when team mates are 1-12 during a promo game in ranked.

  • I didn't receive a warning that any attitude was negative, it was just an instant chat restriction.
  • nothing said here is really offensive.

But the reason why you received the chat restriction was that your chat logs were seen as negative. I see areas where you are calling your teammates names like "idiot" and "man your dumb", commenting on their map awareness, and blaming others for losing the game

I know our honor system can seem harsh, and trust me I wish it was more forgiving when getting a chat restriction for the first time. This is something that we are discussing as a team because we know its a pain point for players who have been penalized for the first time. Hopefully, this can change in the upcoming ranked seasons.

I'd like one person to tell me that they've never called anyone an idiot before when they were upset.

You’re toxic. The chat suspension is the warning. You’re not innocent, get over yourself.

Did you ever come to think what effect this has on the other player? Nope you didn’t even mention that. You’re a detriment to your team and your comments do nothing in the goal of winning the game or keeping the team atmosphere up.

You are toxic. You deserve the chat ban. Grow up.

Sorry bud but I have been reading these posts from people (like me) who have been chat banned. Yours is by far the worst one that I have read. Cursing your team out, calling people idiot, dumb & useless. Sorry but yea you deserved it. Now do I think that a chat ban should warrant you losing your ranked rewards? No I do not, at the very least they should be giving everyone who was chat banned the chance to raise their honor level to a certain point. You have 5 days, there is no way you're getting it up to honor level 2. Sorry, but in this case you really should've just stopped.

Do you mean like typed idiot in chat to someone, or literally called them one out loud/in your head? Because ive done the latter, but ill never be stupid enough to pointlessly risk my account by typing it in chat. I dont even know the point of that. I would be embarassed to type that in chat and look like some kid raging over a video game.

This isn't toxic, my friend called another one of our friends in OUR discord a "Sweaty nerd" on the league chat while the dude was verbally assaulting him, and it took him approximately 7 months to get back to honor level 2. He dropped from honor 3 to dishonorable. I'm honor level 5 and I think the system is REALLY unfair.
