I Honestly Got 25 Day chat restriction for a pretty bad reason

Hey Riot, I'm just saying after my first chat restriction i got reported once and got a 25 day restriction for not even being toxic. Heres the story the tristana was flaming our whole team and I told her to shut up and mocked her a bit as a joke. Our whole team (As a whole) decided to report her and i ended up getting a 25 day chat restriction. I do not understand how I get the ban if she was also intentionally feeding and being toxic. also she was constantly spamming everything with caps like ''REPROTEDESOAD'' and such so ig I indeed said some pretty obnoxious things and I was also protecting my duo queue as he was constantly flamed by her

You continually harassed/flamed Tristana. It does not matter what her or anyone else was doing. Your punishment is based on your behavior.

Riot doesn't see it as "protecting". They see it as making an already bad situation worse. In the future, it would be better to stick to MUTE, REPORT, MOVE ON, which is generally the best way to both stop trolls and protect your account.

I feel for ya. You won't get a lot of sympathy from the people on these boards, who, when they post, like to act as though sarcasm or jokes do not exist in this world. Hang in there, and probably start a new account just as a precaution, and play a game on it occasionally, building it up from time to time. Once you start getting these automated punishments, things can escalate quickly, and if you won't get off for this, you definitely won't get a permaban overturned on these grounds.

The best advice I can give you is to forget league of legends and find a source of enjoyment far away from here...but I'd be giving advice that I myself haven't lived up to.
