REUPLOAD The Fragile Penalty System AKA How To Get Away With Bad Behavior
Over the course of time playing this game wiht friends has given us alot of fun times, after all THIS IS A TEAM GAME, but of course that means we have also had some of the worst experiences in any online game we have played. Some of them have been unfairly banned for calling a bad player in a team (enemy or allied), even tho they were the problem to either us or the enemy team. So with all our experiences though our games I have seen how players can easily abuse this foolish system, which is supposeddly superior to the last one, and I would like to talk about them. YOU CAN MUTE A PLAYER ANYTIME YOU WANT, BUT YOU CAN'T STOP HIS ACTIONS IF THEIR INTENTION IS TO RUIN THE GAME Of course you can always carry them if you are good enough, but if they either affect more teammates making them also give up or ruin every lane the worst way possible, good luck on that.
How not to get a LeaveBuster penalty while being AFK/not helping your team? > This is probably the weakest and most exploitable part of the system. > If you have missed the first minutes of a game for any reason (game crash, getting food, bathroom, etc) you might have seen a warning message telling you to get right into the action or either you will get a penalty. With that in mind it is obvious that as long as a player moves and interacts with anything in the map (obviously without actually helping) every few minutes the system will think they are actually playing and not bein a bad player.
Why won't feeders get punished? > When you start playing you might have done some things you wouldn't be proud of when you are better. Maybe you built AP on every champ because you don't know what scaling is, walked under turret a few times or building a champion in such a horrible way which will inevitably affect your teammates (with very rare exeptions). So I guess what happens here is that the system babysits the players (otherwise many accounts will get banned before getting level 10) taking them as Learning and Trying. Unfortunately this seems to carry on until the end of times because, just like in the last point, as long as a player deals damage to anything in the map or interact with champs they won't deserve a penalty.
Someone trash talked to you and you wanna get them banned? > Just play the victim game! the system loves it. So obviously if someone is feeding or doing anything that could do bad for their team (ally or enemy) on purpose some players might lose their patience because reasoning is useless and will start writing the worst insults they know to the unsportsmanlike player. In this case the bad player is the victim in the eyes of the system because he is being attacked so, instead of punishing the bad player for intentionally being bad, the machine goes after whoever attacked him because they are the poor victim.
In conclusion this Penalty System is easily exploitable and many people already know how to use that on their favor and getting away with that. Yes, it surely can punish someone for using negative language, after all selecting a word and putting it in certain category can be done even in the oldest computers with a certain program, but it will never distinguish actions inside the game like an actual person will ever do.
**This is a carbon copy of the same thread who was deleted for being posted on a wrong board. According to the deletion messasge this is the proper place to post this content on. This thread has no insults, its not spam, it is not promoting 3rd party stuff of any kind, doesnt name or rank shame anyone, does not brake any of the rules posted in the community board guidelines in any way that is explained in there, it is meant to be a serious discussion about player behavior, so there is absolutely no reason for it to be deleted again. **
EDIT: The title might be misleading to some people as I have been pointed out. This is absolutely NOT promoting bad behavior but I can't change the title to avoid this problem. It should sound more like "This is how unsportsmanlike players cheat the system".
